“As part of a family date day we stopped by the Morrison on our way back from Griffith Observatory. As usual, it didn't disappoint. It was still happy hour which was indeed a plus.WILLIAM was our server. He was very nice and friendly. He checked on us numerous times. Enough that we knew were taken of but not too much that he interfered with our lunch.I ordered 1903 lagger and my wife ordered the "Spring Fling". Her drink wasn't loaded but I could definitely taste the alcohol. Drinks were tasty and paired well with the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and turkey burger. We swapped the regular fries with sweet potato fries. We didn't know it when he ordered but they were garlic fries and let me tell you they were... Pretty good! My wife had to leave her regular fries to steal my sweet potatoes.My daughter had the kids meal burger sliders on Hawaiian bread. The serving of fries was NOT kid size. She was over the moon... She loves fries.We ordered dessert, cookies and ice cream. My daughter thought she was in heaven. I didn't partake bc I had had too many garlic fries but they both seemed to enjoy them.Needless to say we'll be back again sometime soon.In the meantime - if you're looking for a yummy meal in a cool ambiance, look no further and stop by the Morrison (no, I was not in any way compensated for this review!)Oh and parking is not the best (small parking lot) but easy to find parking in the street. “Was visiting my daughter who lives in the area. The food and service were great. Need more local craft beer options. Had the signature burger. Came hot and exactly as ordered. Family loved what they had to eat. Brussel sprouts were a favorite. Drinks were tasty as well. We will make a point to visit each time we're in town.“

“This had all the makings of a great burger, but unfortunately it fell down on one of the most important pillars--execution! Specifically, the meat was not well prepared. I'm not sure if I came on an off day, but the quality was lacking; some bites were too dry; some bites were not seasoned well. It's like whatever beef mixture they were using reached the bottom of the barrel and was not fresh. Also, I ordered the patty rare, and it was served medium-well. Ordinarily, I wouldn't make a big fuss about this sort of thing, but they are clearly going for the "elevated" burger experience at a premium $17 price point, and at those levels they really need to deliver flawlessly, every time. I also felt that the burger was a bit on the small side. I could fit the entire sandwich in one hand. The rest of the composition was actually quite good. I tried their signature "Stout," which comes with blue cheese, Gruyère, bacon, grilled onions, tomatoes, and a horseradish sauce. Each element complements the others really well, without any one becoming overwhelming. Flavor wise, it's all there. I just wish the patty pulled its own weight! I also tried the loaded fries, which were delicious. Specifically, whatever cheese they use melts perfectly over fresh, hot, crispy fries, and had a consistency that was not too runny and not too thick. The Goldilocks of melted cheese! These were also pricey at $9 though, and the portion was also on the small side. Overall, I'm glad that I tried what is allegedly one of the "best burgers in LA," but I won't be running back.“
“One of the best Korean places I’ve been to. I loved their Pork Belly and Baby octopus dish. It had tons of bean sprouts which seemed a bit odd at first, but completed the dish. Everything was perfectly seasoned. A little sweet and salty but not too much of each. Very big portions and great side dishes.“
“Wow what an amazing brunch experience today! 1) Atmosphere: Nice and chill vibes for a Sunday brunch. 2) Service: Amazing. Our waiter, Steven, took such good care of us! He was super friendly, made great recommendations, and did not let the mimosas run low. (if you show up for Sunday brunch, ask for Steven!) 3) Food: Bottomless mimosas for $24 is a great deal, especially on this side of town. Speciality drinks were good too. I enjoyed my chicken and waffles. They weren't stingy on the chicken like almost ALL the restaurants in LA and the waffle was a nice side and delicious. It was plenty of food for me...we all got to go boxes. I'll definitely be retuning here with a larger group of friends. Highly recommend!“

“First off, this place is so cute!! Very nice setup, my boyfriend and I were introduced to it by our friend who is pictured below with the mimosas (I hope he doesn't hate me for posting this haha but he just shows how happy this place will make you!!) Second, bottomless mimosas??? Yes please!! This is such a fun place to do bottomless mimosas, the servers were so nice. We originally wanted to sit in the sun but then we got too hot and they were so okay moving us and they were so conversational and nice, it was amazing. And last but not least, the food! So so good. I absolutely see why my friend loves this place. I will definitely be back when I visit LA again.“

Amaya was personable and the rest of our wait staff were attentive but not overly so. They allowed my friends and I to enjoy our meal from start to finish. Prince Charles was juicy with good flavor. The spinach was seasoned and not too creamy. You must get the brisket on with the gravy fries. The drink selection was top tier with a good selection of beers, spirits, and creations. Honestly everything I’d want a Scottish establishment to be.“
“I was a tourist in LA with no phone or car and I stumbled into this place because it was in walking distance of my hotel. What an unbelievably lucky chance for me. The food here is delicious, and the drinks are awesome, but the people are truly what made me come back over the duration of my trip. “TBH I love this burger, always have always will. However, this is the first and last time I’ll ever order it for delivery!! If I hadn’t already had it in person a thousand times I’d have been very unimpressed by the execution. The food was still warm when it arrived, but the bottom bun was completely soaked through to the point of disintegration. Maybe this wouldn’t bother anyone, but it ruined the functionality of eating it as a burger. The shoe string fries (which I always LOVE in person) were also pretty solidified and chewy by the time they arrived. Love love love this place, I recommend it to all of my friends visiting LA, but definitely skip getting this place (or at least the burger and fries) delivered. Trust me!! You’ll thank me when you make the drive to eat there in person :)“

“We didn't order any food, so this review is for drinks service, and vibes. On our way from the Petersen Automotive to Pijja Palace, we had some time to kill and so found Jay's Bar on Yelp. The four of us arrived a little after 4:00 on a Thursday, found street parking (rather than the tiny lot), and pulled up to find two other patrons and who we think is the owner doing some business on her computer at a table. Erich was very friendly but not imposing. The happy hour deal of Kirin and gyoza sounded good, but we were on the way to dinner and decided not to. My brother ordered the Big Bad Baptist (on draft!!! I haven't seen it in forever!), my sister-in-law enjoyed her Brooks Dry Cider, Jim G. had a Space Dust on draft and I enjoyed the Yuzu You cocktail, which was a nice mix of shishito-infused gin, yuzu liqueur, lime, and cracked pepper (there's also a bit of simple, which I asked Erich to omit). There was some nice music playing and a rousing tennis match on one tv (at least according to Erich and the two other patrons) and on the other, the end of a Godzilla movie and then an episode of The Sopranos. I imagine at night when this place is packed, the vibe is a bit different, but it was great for our purposes. We are way far away in the northwest SFV, so this isn't a place we'll drive all the way here for, but if we're in the area, we'd definitely stop in again.“

“Came for a happy hour. They have some cocktails on happy hour menu. Can order from bar and there is table service. Food is good for bar food: we shared fries tenders pizza and nachos. The ambiance is dark and comfortable with soft lighting and plush seating available. It can get loud with games. Parking is available in a paid lot but the machines weren't working the day I was there. Street parking is also available (read the signs) and there's also metered street parking.“

I very much enjoyed their pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich and pastrami french fries. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I couldn't be happier with my first visit and with about a year and a half left before graduating, I'm probably going to spend a lot of time and money at this place.I live in USC grad student housing and this restaurant is, by far, the most convenient place to eat in the area. “I've been a regular here for a while, because their food is so good (better since the OB Bear collab), the staff are all so amazing, and the outdoor patio is such a vibe. Go-to menus are chicken wings (original and marinated), muk muchim, stirfried squid with added noodles, all the buchimgaes, tofu kimchi, pan fried blood sausages and kimchi fried rice. The only thing I've had here that's not good were the chicken feet. It's chill on weekdays, and gets really busy/loud on Friday and Saturday evenings. The burgers, fries and other items are worth it.The place is super cute with tables everywhere, they also have a lot of outdoor tables with shade. We always eat in. There is nothing we don't like about 33 Taps.We have had all their burger types and they can make it the way you want. For me there is nothing worse than a well done burger. Make mine bloody and add the cheese. Their salads and bowls are also great. We love the Caesar grilled chicken breast, avocado, black beans, cilantro rice, peppers & onions, romaine, pico de gallo, pickled onion, parmesan, house made croutons, caesar dressing. The Wedge Cobb is also yummy with Iceberg lettuce, applewood bacon, avocado, hard boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, pickled onions, and ranch dressing. I don't care for ranch and they are happy to give me the Caesar dressing instead.They also have great nachos. The menu is not huge. It is a bar menu. But it tastes like fine dinning burgers to me and don't forget their fries.“
