Very limited menu, very expensive parking which makes the over all expensive unpleasant. The ambiance is nice although somewhat nosy , other than that nothing special about this place .

I decided to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant, expecting a classy atmosphere for my out-of-town friends. After dinner, we went to the rooftop for drinks and snacks. I specifically asked for tap water but was charged $13 for bottled water we never ordered. When I questioned it, the waiter insisted we had ordered it and kept arguing, making us all uncomfortable.

They brought a small dessert for my birthday—a tiny portion of berries and chocolate mousse—which was nice, but it felt like the water charge was covering the “free” dessert. This dismissive and unprofessional treatment, especially on my birthday, ruined the vibe and left my friends feeling awkward. I have never had such an uncomfortable experience. I won’t return or recommend this place to anyone.

Fresh, delicious, well prepared food. The Brussels sprouts and carrots were fantastic. Good portion sizes. Very flavorful food. The roof top setting is spectacular with amazing views. Drawback: the noise level was off the charts-we couldn't hear each other speak and we were seated outdoors in the smaller seating section of the restaurant.

We had an amazing time celebrating my husband's 40th birthday! The atmosphere was great, and the waitress was absolutely wonderful—she made the experience even more special.

Love the babaganoush and the labneh here! The baba isn't too smoky and the pomegranate on the labheh is a nice touch. The fresh pita and quality crudite make me happy. Great place for a birthday celebration, also good spot for dietary restrictions because there are a lot of vegan, gluten free, and healthy options and everything is delicious. Staff is welcoming, cool, and unlike much of the LA dining scene they are not snobby. They make a good French 75 and a great spicy margarita. Lovely decor and a good vibe. When the weather is clear the rooftop has some of the best views in Santa Monica. I have been at a large event at the hotel and the food was just as good on a large scale, great event spaces as well. All of the restaurants in the hotel are on the pricier side but I've always loved my experiences so I will keep coming back!

Great vibe. Staff is super friendly. And food was good. What more could you ask for? Ask to sit on the bar side if you want to feel part of the action. Sitting by the pool is fine for lunch, but in the evening it feels like you've been shunned to a corner away from the cool people. Though it's usually quieter on the pool side, and the bar side can be lively and more noisy.

It's always such a great experience on this beautiful roof top. I brought my mom for brunch today and as always everything was perfect. The service truly is 10/10 and the environment can't be beat

We had an amazing dinner. Staff was super friendly and gave us great suggestions. The Octapus is a must. Very nice interior/exterior design. Rooftop with outdoor heaters. Make a reservation for guaranteed table.

The staff went out of there way to make us happy I had asked for a certain lunch that I have eaten there before- I did not realize they only offer it on the weekend- The chef came out an apologized and then he said if we were patient he would make it special for us- Unbelievable how much they go out of their way to please us. I highly recommend this place- you will not be disappointed!!!

Went out for a lunch date and all expectations were met. It was our first time there and we went around 4ish so the the weather was perfect. I would recommend the cocktails and they also had a great wine selection. Food was good we had the watermelon salad and branzino, and also had the Brussels sprouts but were a little saucy for our taste. Overall a great experience and would come again!

Nice place, drinks are on the south beach end as far as price. food was plentiful but taste was not the best. We got the grilled octopus, could have been cooked more and served hot. NY strip did not even taste like a steak. the 2 apps were ok, Atmosphere was good , Drinks were good!

Our evening at Calabra was beyond wonderful- every dish was fantastic and the service exceptional! The head chef even came out to greet us which was special and our entire group had a blast from start to finish. Highly recommend for a night out.

First night at the hotel with the family and decided to dine at Calabra. It did not disappoint. The entire staff were so friendly and the food / atmosphere were on point. Such a nice dining experience. We will definitely come back.
