Food, Ambience and Service were STELLAR. The staff could not do enough for us. This was my second time at Calabra and it's been consistently great.
All the dishes were great, including the appetizers. But a very short menu with few choices. A bit noisy for my taste, but that is true almost anywhere. Note that all seating is outdoors.
Excellent vibe, food, and service. Was disappointed that minutes after paying our $600+ tab with a generous tip for our (great) server, we were asked by the (I believe) manager if we could finish our drinks in the hotel lobby so others could have our table. We had been at the table less than 2-hours and the table next to us had been seated at their table longer than us. They were polite and offered us a round of drinks, but was somewhat off putting to be rushed out so quickly, as if once the bill was paid, we were no longer valued. Will still go back, and hope they have improved their reservation management.
Great spot with a warm, inviting ambiance and surprisingly good food for a hotel bar. The drinks were excellent as well. The only downside is that everything feels a bit overpriced.
I was surprised to see a mezze plate with only one singular item. We ordered a sweet potato mezze plate and it had 2 mini sweet potatoes split in half with nothing else. We also ordered cauliflower and got broccolini. We ordered a rice dish and the rice wasn't fully cooked with a slight crunch it was seasoned phenomenally but definitely undercooked. I was told we were getting a complimentary dessert for my bffs birthday and they added the dessert to the bill. It was baklava but in no way did it taste like the traditional dessert. The place was cute and the hostess and staff were awesome but the food missed the mark.
Lunch menu on the large plates feels inadequate in choices. Perhaps the branzino which they offer in the evenings would be a good addition. It needs couple of additional choices. Also the space during daytime is starting to show some wear and needs some tending to.
Dinner menu had never limited options and was not very good. Appetizers and drinks were great
We were sat at a table with wet seats and no lights, it was completely dark. Had to ask for a light and a heat lamp just so we could see our food. A Server didn't come over and take our drink order for 15 minutes we sat there waiting before anyone came to us. our first appetizer came 5 minutes before our cocktails came. Overrated for sure.
Excellent food, great setting. We were able to sit away from the bar so the noise level was tolerable
Service for the level of this establishment was extremely poor; we rarely ever saw our waiter on the two separate occasions that we dined there. While at brunch, I ordered the crab toast and bit into a large piece of crab shell that was missed during preparation, the shell cut the roof of my mouth. The manager only comped the toast and not the entire table, which, for the type of establishment, we found extremely strange

Great ambience! Super nice staff but they kept trying to take away my dates food even though she had plenty left on her plate. We felt rushed. Palma after is definitely the move.
They were out of some of the most common items on the menu. Food is good but mine was cold.
Incredibly rude host. Bald dude with beard and chest tats. Told us no tables available, standing room only at bar. Seemed to be more concerned with flirting with waitresses than offering good service. Went online and made a reservation and was sat immediately by another host.
Just a lovely experience. When I forgot to ask for something that I was allergic to be taken off the dish, the server knew and did it without being asked. Amazing. Also the busser was so observant- gave us new plates without being asked, and also folded the napkins while members of our table had left briefly. The food also was so delicious!
Wasn't told there was a time limit on a table reservation, was rushed out by the manager 2 hours into the reservation twice and he was rather rude the second time
