Drove all the way cross town for avocado Burritos. And they have no Avocados or guacamole. So someone couldn't go to the store and buy some? Management asleep at the wheel. And, no we didn't order something else. Now we have to call every time to see if they can make them. Ridiculous!

I got the chicken wet burrito, it was massive and served hot and drenched in sauce (as it should be). The service was quick and the cashier was helpful with picking out what I wanted. It only took about 5 mins for my food to come out. Additionally, there’s a salsa bar for those who enjoy them. One star was off the atmosphere just for general noise, it’s a fairly lively place.

My wife and I started coming here as teenagers, before we had kids and grandkids. That was avout 40 years ago, been married for 36 years. It has always been our family place to go for good food, great service and a calm cool atmosphere. They have always made us feel like family. Thank you for some great years and respect.

This is the best Mexican food in all of California! I have been eating here since I was a child in the 1980s.

Been going here since I was a kid. Grew up with their food and people. Love this place.

Always good. I always get the turkey or beef tacos.

I love the avocado burrito! Tastes just as amazing as I remember from 30 years ago

When I lived in Santa Monica for my 7th grade school year, we had a field trip, and our lunch was predetermined to be at a restaurant called Campos. I moved back to Chicago for 8th grade plus 20 years more, and I've never forgotten a restaurant named Campos. I've been back in the Santa Monica area for 2025, and anytime I see/hear 'Campos', my thoughts and feelings are right back there again 40 years prior. And this day, my body accompanied my mind and emotions this time.
My condolences to family, friends, and associates of Mr. Campos RIP 2024

The beef and bean burritos was bland and almost tasteless. The red salsa was overly hot without any particular flavor. The service and ambience were above average but ... not enough to make up for the food (which, while well prepared and appeared clean, was nearly tasteless).

If you just need fuel, I suppose it would be OK. But when I eat out, I like to eat something that has taste as well as te ture.

They are wonderful staff however food was not that great, idk if it was because I was the last order of the day or what but I think they could do better, m going to try ordering earlier next time and see, the staff is wonderful friendly family atmosphere, not fancy but just like being at home. I tried the asada burrito

Ok food, young guy at register is super rude, older man is a bit nicer, place is kinda dirty, the tables are super sticky and we had to clean off our own table.
