Like others, I have to say that their customer service is dismal. I placed an order online nearly 3 weeks ago and followed up with a couple of emails to inquire about the status. Zero communication from them about the situation. On the website, it states that orders should ship the week after they are placed. Nope. I will never order from this place again because the customer service is among the worst I have ever experienced. There are other fabulous options out there from businesses that take care of their customers. My advice is to give them your money.

They did not deliver orders to my sister and when we went to the physical location, another food service was there. WTH?

Cocobakes is the best gluten-free sourdough bread out there....if it ever arrives. The bread is exorbitantly expensive--which, again, is fine since it's so great. But what's not fine is that the bread simply doesn't arrive when they say it will...well, ever. Worse is that there is zero communication about it being late, when it'll get to you, or any kind of apology. Even worse is that if you don't follow up on $80-worth of bread that you ordered almost two months ago, nothing will happen!Right now, it says they're running three weeks behind, which already crazy considering they've been trying to scale their business for close to a year. The shipping is $10 no matter what, and what's really wild is that no one ever tries to rectify the situation with any kind of accommodation (ie free shipping, a discount code) after you have to hustle them to receive your bread five weeks after the fact.I totally get that running your own business is challenging, but after almost a year of manufacturing delays and poor customer service, I no longer feel there is an excuse for such a deficiently run business. It's a huge bummer because the bread really is the highest quality and so well-made. Unfortunately, the standard practices of service don't latter up to the quality, and sadly, there are other companies who can manage production, demand, and quality at the same time, eager to outpace Cocobakes. Not sure how the business will make it! I'll be getting my bread from Erewhon from now on.

The bread is amazing, but the customer service is pretty subpar, especially for what you’re paying. I am sensitive to the fact that it’s not the best time for the industry with staffing shortages, however, for the price of the product and shipping, comms could be better. Not receiving any email 3-4 weeks after you’ve placed an order is a little ridiculous. Again, love the bread, but having to hassle customer service for an update on your order over the course of many orders, has caused me to order less and less.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! THRILLED with our order of yummy and delicious gluten free all natural breads. The small buns make the perfect sliders and mini sandwiches and also fulfill the perfect craving for warm bread and butter, YUM. They are the very first experience of "just like real bread" we've had in 15 years since diagnosed with Celiac. The hamburger size are the first delicious bun we've had (without all the harmful additives and mold inhibitors others have) Instead of lettuce wraps we get to have a real burger. They are the kindest, warmest people and we'll be a customer for life! Any delay is totally worth waiting for, that's HOW GOOD they are!! Thanks again for making such incredible, no-chemical products for those of us with so many allergies. P'S' We just signed up for monthly orders. They are worth every penny. Thanks again.

Bread was in transit a month and came damaged and I ate it not knowing it was in transit a month. So stale! Customer service did nothing as other reviewers state. Giving it one more shot. A bum cause service and quality used to be amazing !

As Jenn T has indicated below i have had the same experience. I was sent the wrong item and have received no response to emails or my phone call which according to the voice msg was the private phone of the owner Coco and yet she doesnt seem to care, no response. Yet they seem to have time to post in IG stories. I would NOT order from this company.

I put in an order on Feb. 26th and I have never received my order. I sent this bakery three follow up emails and left a VM for the owner. Still no response. They charged my credit card on Feb. 26th but did not deliver my order. Now I have to go through my credit card company and report this as fraud. Very disappointing as I was very impressed by the ingredients they use etc. but now I am not sure this is even a real business. Be careful.

I really enjoy the GF sourdough and the ingredients are unique and more nutritious than your typical rice, potato, and corn. They are a bit pricey but I appreciate the hard work and sourcing a small business has to account for so I buy bread and treats a few times a year but I always enjoy them!

The gluten free fruit and nut sourdough bread is delicious. I've eaten it plain, as avocado toast and with peanut butter. Looking forward to trying it topped with fried eggs.
