Among the worst espressos I've ever had? Like sour water

I didn’t expect much since the overall ratings are average, but this place is right across the street from the Tesla chargers, so it was very convenient when I needed to charge the car and get my toddler out to walk around for a bit. I was happy to see that they had lavender lattes on the menu cuz those are my favorite. I was even happier with how it tasted—not overly sweet, and perfect velvety foam. I was also very pleased that they had a savory pastry option. The caramelized onion scone looked suspiciously dry, but it wasn’t. It was quite moist and delicious, which was another wonderful surprise. But the best part for me (which is very parent-specific, so probably not relevant to most people), was the fact that the kids steamed milk I got for my 1.5yr old was actually perfect temperature, with a nice amount of foam. As a parent, it’s rare that a barista has the awareness or experience to recognize a good temperature for younger babies. Most of the time at other cafes, the milk is still too hot for kids younger than 5. But this barista was pretty awesome and skilled, and I soooooo appreciate that attention to such a seemingly benign detail. I didn’t get their name, but I was overall very impressed.

The sprinkles cookie is good, but this place has the best latte in LA (or at least Santa Monica). It’s a pretty small pop-upish space.

Had really high hopes for this place and had bookmarked it for months after seeing it on a few top lists. But unfortunately they were out of the seasonal drink that I wanted and the cold brew that I had wasn't overly impressive. I also had hoped there would be more seating or a nicer area to get some work done, but it seemed pretty limited in terms of tablespace. Will give it another shot next time I'm in town.

This is not a crowded place, but hre coffee and breeze of fresh air (outdoor seating) are GREAT!We were the only customers when we came. The barista quickly and swiftly make our cappucino. It tastes GREAT!

Great working coffee shop; chill vibes

Not too good. It's in a spot where coffee shops aren't many, so for the sake of getting a coffee if you really need it, it's good. However, the coffee tastes so mediocre. In fact, the coffee is so mediocre that my ability to write a great review has also turned mediocre. The prices are alright though.

Pretty awful after my first visit.

Wow. Said good morning and attendant responded with a mean face rolling her eyes. Never experienced someone so rude for no reason. Same coffee you can get anywhere else with better service.

I was just looking for coffee and found this place. Wasn't anything special or fancy, and definitely not the best location, but in addition to the very friendly staff I found the best cappuccino I ever had in the US. So, if all you want is good coffee and you happen to be in the hood, this is your place...
