Crudo e Nudo Reviews
Although I was a little put off by the paper plate table settings… this was by far the most delicious food I’ve had… a wildly unexpected treat! Simple yet brilliant flavors using incredible olive oil… it’s my new favorite place! Highly recommended…
I’m not sure that I fully buy into the concept: order at the front desk and service with paper plates for high-end food and prices. Nevertheless, the food was great and the service was very helpful.
This is my favorite place on Main Street in Santa Monica! The quality and presentation of the food is top notch!
The crudo and other raw fish dishes better be good given the restaurant's name...and they are crushing it! Check their daily fresh menu and just get whatever speaks to you.
They are not a one trick pony though. The vegetable dishes are fantastic as well. The vegan Caesar salad is insane and love the garbanzo bean toast as well.

Crudo E Nudo offers excellent food, with standouts including the collar, rock fish, mezze platter, tuna crudo, and strawberry herb salad. The service is warm, relaxed, and knowledgeable. The sea bass, halibut, and kampachi are highly recommended, along with the grilled prawns with green melon and percebes. The chef lets the ingredients speak for themselves, using the highest quality and sustainable fish. The atmosphere is delightful, making it a great place to share and try a variety of dishes. The tasting menu is spectacular and well-priced. The patio provides a perfect backdrop for savoring fresh, cool seafood.
The restaurant has a lively ambiance, with the staff known for their friendly and positive attitude. The menu features a great value in the flavorful prawns, and the knowledgeable staff can provide recommendations on the extensive wine list. While the outdoor seating can be busy with sidewalk traffic, it offers ample space for dining. The food is simple yet delicious, perfect for a hot day, with the staff providing a delightful complement to the offerings. Chef Brian's expertise in seafood and the constantly changing menu based on fresh, seasonal catches ensure a flavorful experience. Everything from the sauces, broths, to the quality of the fish is truly remarkable, and even the shishito peppers are a standout. The atmosphere is simple yet classy and cozy, making it a favorite spot to visit in LA.
