Thanks you Daniel and the staff for an amazing experience. I don’t share this lightly after many disappointing donning experiences in LA. Everything was excellent both food and service. We had the meat and cheese charcuterie board where everything was superb. Their specialty cocktail, the Fizz’d Out, was one of the best we have ever had and their wine list was not only impressive but was reasonably priced. The chicken confit was exceptional and the apple tart was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Dont sleep on the vegetable sides too. Thank you! We will be back.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sides

We recently held a party here for 40 of our closest friends and the management, bartenders, chefs, and servers couldn't have been more helpful. The food, drink, and atmosphere were all topnotch. Highly recommended for big groups or small get togethers. Whichever it is, definitely add the grilled cheese to your order. It's next level.

I don't normally leave bad reviews . But this is supposed to feed 4-6 people. It also looks nothing like advertised. This was $108. I don't know who they are feeding. Strawberries were very underripe and there were two strawberries total. There were 7 grapes and five mandarin slices. This was our Super Bowl snack so greatly disappointed.

Expensive, tiny portions, and each of us concurred that we would never go back unless under duress. Incredibly disappointing!

First time here, wasn’t impressed. Server was very inattentive. Served multiple tables sat after us before us. They delivered our food to another table and that table ending up eating it. Once we finally got our food it was just ok. Wasn’t worth the price. I feel like our experience would have been much better had there been room at the bar top.

Under the “Plates” section along with Cod, Short Rib and Lasagna - there was an offering of charred leeks for the price of $17.00. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but perhaps we can let the internet decide what I received. A total of 4 green onions? 4 baby leeks? We may never know.I feel like I have shamed my ancestors with this ill-advised purchase. At least it’s been a great laugh sharing this image amongst friends and colleagues.

Wish I could give Esters six stars. Love the atmosphere, the wine selection and the food!

They are few blocks east of the promenade, the place is more for locals and wine aficionados. We got there at 4-ish. The atmosphere of their patio (covered, heated, dog-friendly) was so relaxing. The server was attentive and so informative he didn't even hesitate to go to their sommelier or wine expert to answer my questions. After 5 it became more vibrant, yet not too noisy. The first wine I had, Anima Mundi Gres, looked quite hazy in the glass. But later I learned that it was a natural, unfiltered organic wine -- no wonder! And it tasted fab anyway, was so refreshing with perfect acidity. I had two more different wines, I loved them both too, but can't remember them in details, hahahaha... Other than the fact that their wine selection is fun and trendy. What a lovely little wine shop and bar, my friend and I had a great time!

We were seated inside in the evening, and th room was very cold. The waitress said they had to keep it that way because of all the wine that's stored in the room. We found the wine by the glass selection to be very limited and overpriced for the quality, especially for a wine bar. We also found the menu very limited. We ordered what was called "short ribs," but which turned out to be essentially a very uninteresting meat pie. The service, at least, was fine. Overall, I cannot recommend this place for dinner.

Raw shishito peppers, no salt but washed. Carrots are raw, washed and colorful.Radish is sliced, raw and pure, no effort needed.Brussel sprouts Main dish was enough to feed one. The sprouts were grilled for at least 2 minutes and the sauce was made out of tomato.

Ester's is great! I've come here a few times for happy hour, Sunday tastings, and just weekend drinks. Sunday tastings are great because you get to try 4 new wines which come with a small cheese/fruit pairing. They also have happy hour all day on Sundays. I've also tried their cocktails which have always been good, the charcuterie board and the focaccia. Definitely worth checking out!

Esters hosted an engagement party for my fiancee and I along with about 20 guests and we had a stellar experience that I wanted to share for anyone looking to organize something similar. We checked out the space before booking and sampled some of the wine and snacks they had, and the staff was super friendly and helpful in showing us potential indoor vs outdoor spaces. My main point person for planning the event was Daniel and he was outstanding to work with. I reached out by email about a month before the party and we decided on the space (reserved part of the indoor bar) and menu out of some options he gave me over email. Obviously the rotating wine selection is excellent and thorough, and Daniel provided the most updated wine list a few days before our party for us to choose wines from. Day of, everything was set up perfectly when we and guests arrived. The back half of the indoor space was reserved for us with standing tables, a long table with our assorted bites, flatware/silverware, and one side of the bar set aside for our guests to be served drinks. The food, ambiance, and service were flawless throughout. Our guests continually mentioned throughout the afternoon how good the food and wines were. We ordered the following items and it was the perfect amount for 20 or so people: Milo+olive bread basket Burrata Mussel toast The Plank (cheese and charcuterie) Assorted tinned fish Basque cheesecake Gingerbread cookies 2 skin contacts 2 whites 1 rose If you are looking for a small, intimate space to hold a celebration for about 25 guests on the westside, I would highly recommend working with Esters. Even if you have no interest in wine or you don't drink, I think it's a fantastic space and excellent team for an event. My fiancee and I both work in medicine and tend not to have a lot of time for event planning, but the Esters team really made it easy for us to put together a really high quality gathering for our friends and family with minimal effort. Pricing was very reasonable and there was no food minimum or separate event fee for renting the space itself. Thanks so much to the team for a special day.

One of the most low key but great vibes near downtown Santa Monica! They have indoor and outdoor seating options. The wine they have is either organic and biodynamic. They have reds, whites and sparkling definitely something to make every one happy! They also have beer/cocktails. I love coming by during happy hour or during their Sunday wine flights!! Everyone who works here is so friendly!! Would come back in a hearbeat
