How hard is it to make a prepared sandwich? i mean the place is clean and help is friendly, but the sandwich was awful and I had to wait like 15 minutes for a terrible bite! The bill was $13.55 including Tax and the sandwich was a medium Italian and the meat is pressed in a heater of some kind which was equally weird. I'm Italian-American and I know Italian food. This was not an Italian sandwich by any standard, and I didn't have a high level of satisfaction as my standard, but this was barely edible. Maybe I just made a bad choice, but Firehouse Subs gives a bad name for firefighters because the product needs to be rescued. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Delicious Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich! The turkey was smokey and flavorful, the bacon was cooked perfectly and hot, made a great mix with the peppercorn ranch sauce. Firehouse subs Santa Monica hasn't disappointed me yet. Been eating almost a year solid. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I HATE to have to do this but that was the worst Sub EVER. How do you mess up a simple Italian Sub? Here's how: He put an entire jar of mayo, a pint of oil and vinegar, and to top things off the meat was hot and the cheese melted. The teaspoon of lettuce he put on the sandwich was ridiculous and it was soggy from the hot meat and oil. I had more black olives than pieces of lettuce. Bottom bread was soaked from the oil and melted mayo that it wasn't even edible and just mushed in my fingers. Nevermind the tomato sauce on my bread...not complaining because I understand it's a work station. I have NEVER in my life had a hot Italian Sub ??? What was that about??? Why Why Why??? With every bite oil and liquid was pouring out....smh... This guy was sooooo nice and very friendly but geesh that's not going to cut the mustard. I was STARVING too ...uuuggg... Now I just want to regurgitate :-( I'm a pretty big tipper but I am soooooo glad I did nit have cash on me today. I was even thinking about going back to tip everyone.....but heck no The staff is nice and professional and I know it's hard to find employees, so I'm just going to forget about this and never go back there. Another thing.... how was the man's Meatball Sandwich done before my Sub and he was behind me in line.... Super weird....hummm I know training is time companies don't have but making an Italian Sub is NOT ROCKET SCIENCE GREAT STAFF! .....poor training

I don't often give reviews that are not good but when the last two times you order and they get your sandwich wrong, I have to give my feedback. My order is not complicated. Both times I ordered a turkey swiss on wheat and asked for extra lettuce, tomatoes and onions with red wine vinegar. That's it only to come home with no tomatoes, no onions and no red wine vinegar. The first time I just wrote it off and told myself that mistakes happen and I gave the benefit of the doubt. But they did it again! The worst feeling to order a sandwich the way you like it and they get it wrong. There's so many options to get a good sub sandwich in Santa Monica! Management needs to step in here and fix this or you'll lose business!

I love the one in NoHo and thought this location would be great since I was in the area. Sadly disappointed. I order mobile order on their app for curbside pickup. The email confirmation even clearly stated: "If you ordered curbside pickup, please park in a designated curbside spot when you arrive and call the number on the sign. If you are hearing impaired: tap your horn twice to signal the staff." But when I pulled up there after NO DESIGNATED CURBSIDE parking spot. Nor were there any sign with phone number to call. So I parked and had to walk in. After waiting in line, I asked for my mobile order for "curbside pickup". Someone behind the counter pulled out my to-go brown bag. Glad at least my order was ready to go. So I asked about the "designated parking spot" and the phone number posted on a sign (?) to call. They told me that there is NO designated mobile pickup spot. They just kinda "look" for a car as described in the curbside pickup order through the glass entrance to see. The problem is there were no open parking spots in front of their entrance. Ugh. Why offer curbside pickup when it's really not available? I had very little time for pickup and instead was mislead with incorrect "curbside pickup" instructions and wasted more time dealing with this. That said. When I opened the box, it turned out my order was only half fulfilled. The NY Steamer that includes both corned beef and pastrami only had a couple slices of corned beef on half of the outside of the bread. The inside was basically filled with sauce and lettuce. So I ended up throwing away half of meatless bread. Where did my pastrami go? Did whoever making my order get hungry and are my pastrami???

Impressed with the friendly customer service here!!! I'll for sure be back. Didn't expect such positivity from a sub place. Eddie made me feel like I was in my best friends home and they were prepping a meal made with love. What a great energy for the new year.

The sandwiches were surprisingly pretty good. The bread was quality stuff.Sandwiches have three size options.This location shares parking with other businesses.Not busy during time of visit.
