Really good food and service! I had the Nashville hot chicken and waffle, the salmon avocado toast, and a cucumber mint lemonade. Everything was very delicious. I definitely want to come back to try more dishes. If it's nice out, ask to sit out back. They have a really nice/cool outdoor section behind the restaurant.

Used to be a fan of this place but it has become one of the worst tasting breakfast in Santa Monica. They only give 1 egg with the bowl. When asked for extra egg, they simply forgot and brought it nearly at the end. The staff is just workers and lack management. Would never return and I’m a local to the area.

Horrible service! My friend and I stopped at Starbucks beforehand because we noticed this place doesn’t offer iced coffee. We were seated, and the first thing the server said wasn’t a greeting but a passive-aggressive comment about how they “don’t allow outside drinks” but would “allow it this one time.” Instead of just enforcing their policy upfront or asking us to leave, they chose to make us feel completely unwelcome while still expecting us to order as usual.
If your priority is making customers feel uncomfortable rather than providing good service, you’re doing a great job. We won’t be coming back.

The Flapjack Diner in Santa Monica is a hidden gem! They have the cutest diner atmosphere and the food pancake menu is just pancrazy delicious. This morning I went in to grab a quick cup of coffee before heading out on a walk and they didn't have tap. I was about to leave when someone came running out, offering to give me the coffee for free, just so I'd come back again. I really appreciated that kind of old-school hospitality. It really made my day! Thank you flapjax … see you again tomorrow!
Definitely not a diner, more of one of those corny brunch spots with ridiculously sugary drinks and a menu that just try’s to do too much.
