Just your average brunch place serving a variety of items. I opted for the flapjacks breakfast plate which comes with scrambled eggs, potatoes, roasted green bell peppers, kielbasa, bacon, and an oversized pancake. The the scrambled eggs arrived a little too cold for my liking, and they had brought me pork bacon when I specifically instructed them that I cannot have any pork products, which is why I opted for the turkey bacon. I ordered a side of sourdough bread, which was really good. The pancake was good and feeling. Beyond that nothing extraordinary. Great service though.

I disappointed in myself for not discovering this breakfast/brunch spot earlier. I drive by it daily on my way to work and never paid too much attention to it. But on one particular day my husband and I decided to check out Flapjax based purely on the photos of the potatas dish. I of course ordered that and loved it. I thought it would feel heavier, but it does not. The suggestion of adding avocados to it also made it that much yummier. I ordered a bellini and my husband a mimosa. These are Santa Monica prices so just keep aware it's not a budget friendly spot, but it's not too extreme either. I loved the cute interior and that it felt spacious. They have a cute outdoor area carved out in the back as well. Service was attentive and food was great. Really looking forward to returning.

Joins Blue Daisy as one of Santa Monica’s best breakfast places. Nice breakfast and brunch options prepared with real skill and quality ingredients. Big pancakes that are well made. Some outdoor dining for couples out front and a patio out back for a few groups.Street parking (meters) with a few spots out back (the lightbulb store is closed on Sundays). Restroom. Accessible.Parking: Some neighborhood free parking on side streets and a few spots behind.Kid-friendliness: Lots of pancake options and a crepe. Homemade strawberry and chocolate milks.

Flapjax Diner is a perfect place for breakfast, lunch, and especially brunch. When at Flapjax Diner, you must try their fluffy, delicious pancakes, from original pancakes, to Oreo pancakes dressed with white chocolate sauce, they are all delicious! My meal was the chocolate chip pancakes, which I finished in seconds, and fresh potatoes surrounded by peppers giving it a nice kick. Flapjax Diner is a perfect and I mean perfect place to start out your day in Santa Monica, you must come here.

Pretty mid food. Maybe I should've gotten the flapjacks since that's the title of the restaurant, but me and partner got mushroom crepes and nutella crepes. The nutella crepes were pretty bland, with too much texture from the walnuts. The mushroom risotto was way too way too cheesy.Overall, pretty disappointed for a combined pricepoint of around $55.

Bru’s Wiffle across the street is better. We liked the dog-friendly patio in the back but the food was disappointing. A couple people got the karage + pancake and there was barely any fried chicken. Unreasonable meal for $20+. Weird that Bru’s food is so much better and it’s the same owners.

I really enjoyed this place. The decorations were lively and the workers were sweet. We didn't need to wait long for the food and had many options to choose from. From carbonara to pancakes, everything was delicious. I will definitely be going here again soon.

I think this is run hy same people who have bru's wiffle across the street and down the road. The menu looks very similar but I much prefer bru's.I had the crunchy brioche today, with fruit ...it wasnjautbok, the crunchiness comes from corn flakes I think, quite a lot in between the slices...but overall is was not very tasty. I even asked fo syrup and that didn't help...I wouldn't have this dish again...brus is way better and menubi fond better with some healthier/tastier options ..

Ooh La laaaa! This place was delicious! Went here with my siblings during Thanks Giving weekend, and it did not disappoint. Also our server was very attentive and endearing, she definitely had mom vibe, and we always love mom vibes, she took care of us like we were her own I had the flapjack special with turkey bacon. the whole meal was A LOT of food, I didn't even touch the pancake.I'm not much of a pancake person : Definitely recommend this place! I always stay away from business with bad vibes... I'll definitely be returning here
