I disappointed in myself for not discovering this breakfast/brunch spot earlier. I drive by it daily on my way to work and never paid too much attention to it. But on one particular day my husband and I decided to check out Flapjax based purely on the photos of the potatas dish. I of course ordered that and loved it. Joins Blue Daisy as one of Santa Monica’s best breakfast places. Nice breakfast and brunch options prepared with real skill and quality ingredients. Big pancakes that are well made.Some outdoor dining for couples out front and a patio out back for a few groups.Street parking (meters) with a few spots out back (the lightbulb store is closed on Sundays).
