This place is amazing!!! My family stopped here for dinner our 2nd day in Santa Monica and I cannot rave enough. The food was fresh and delicious - the flavors were phenomenal. But what really made the experience was our phenomenal server. He made us feel like we were family and gave us amazing recommendations and the best service we have had in a really long time - thank you Juan Carlos! Everything we ate was amazing and made with care!!! Lovely place and lovely people!

EXCELLENT food and service. No matter what else is happening in the world, this food is as good as it was the first time you had it -- PHENOMENAL.
Even though the prices have increased substantially (lasagna was $16 and now it's $25) and you have to dodge a zombie apocalypse walking from your car to the front door -- if you are lucky enough to make it in, it's an oasis of EXCELLENT food. Just don't get too fat while feasting because you WILL have to make it back to your car through the zombies. The owners should SERIOUSLY consider a move to downtown Culver City where it's cleaner, safer and parking is free -- and the people walking up and down the block are potential customers NOT threats to potential customers.
But, external factors aside, the food is incomparable -- as it has always been.

Nice spot across the street at Santa Monica. Pretty generous portion, and the food is top notch. I would say it’s a good spot for a casual dinner.

This place is a true staple of the Santa Monica area, and although they had to move from their really cute and charming location, they really did a beautiful job with the bar and the mural inside. This feels like a family spot. We come here often, as its hard to find anything this reasonably priced in the area and its a really cute spot. The food is usually really good, although last time it was a bit off and the pasta wasnt as good as usual. But I have been here so many times, I wont judge on one off night. The staff is always so friendly and kind, and the options are great!

Restaurantji Recommends
Stopped here while visiting the Santa Monica area. The pasta was extremely fresh and the sauce 🤤not too thick and not too runny either! Would def recommend trying Fritto Misto if you're looking for some good Italian/pasta

Went to this restaurant as part of a work dinner with a large group. I was following a plant-based diet at the time and found myself with an underwhelming lack of options. I had to build my own pasta, which is fine, but a bit odd to try and yell over a large party of co-workers every vegetable I wanted in my dish to the waiter. I’d recommend trying a different format like giving customers a card they can fill out and hand to the waiter. Might be quicker, avoid mishearing ingredients, and a lot less awkward.
I ended up getting the arrabiatta sauce (which was one of my only options) and basically built my own puttanesca. The meal was very enjoyable and the pasta my co-workers ordered looked and smelled amazing! However, with this being LA and all, I was a little surprised I didn’t have more options.
Note: portion sizes here are quite large. I could not finish my meal.

Large portions and very good service. Limited wine menu. Service was good. Not ADA compliant entrance. The best minestrone soup in town.

Dee-licious, lol! The lobster ravioli, fantastic! It comes topped with a good amt of delicately sauteed shrimp, and when you add rare sirloin steak slices-amazing!! I've only ordered from here on doordash, so I can't say anything about the atmosphere or service, but the food is terrific! They say their prices are average- they're not, they're a bit high. But the portions are adequate, and the food is gourmet quality! If we could afford it, we'd try everything on the menu in one day, lol! This is my 'had a tough day and I'm going to splurge!' restaurant!👍💙
