Went with my mum on our last night in LA and we were given a booth in the restaurant. Nice vibe in there, super friendly and very accommodating staff. We ordered the steak frites and garden linguine. Both were delicious. Their martinis are fantastic we got both vodka and gin martinis. Perfect space for all occasions and would recommend to friends to go here for dinner.
Classic old school restaurant. Excellent ambiance. I had the shrimp cocktail and the prime rib with baked potato. I felt like I should be negotiating with a Hollywood agent or politician in a place like this. Lots of fun.
The Golden Bull is a total Santa Monica gem, stepping inside feels like a time warp in the best way. I first visited about 15 years ago, and on a recent return it was wonderful to find the atmosphere still just as classic and unchanged. It is clearly mainly frequented by a local clientele, which only adds to the authentic neighborhood feel.
