I've eaten at 3 or 4 ramen spots in sawtelle including Daikokuya.. this place has nothing on them! The chicken wonton ramen is so good. I love this place

A special thank you to Kevin, manager and awesome human, for accommodating a large group of people to the restaurant (10+)! My colleagues and friends as well as myself genuinely appreciated your hospitality, patience, and making us feel so welcome. I heard that Jinya was the best ramen bar in Colorado. The hype is real. This restaurant can easily go toe to toe with the best places in Bay Area in California. I will be coming back again when I visit Denver next time especially because everyone could not stop talking about the amazing flavors each bowl of ramen had to offer.

I ordered the spicy vegan ramen bowl and I would easily order it again even though I prefer to try different menu items each time I go to a restaurant, there’s nothing quite like trying a dish that you instantly know has become part of your classic go-to dishes for future orders.

Thank you to everyone on the Jinya team at Union Square from the host, servers, chefs, assistants, admin, and to everyone in between. You made our night memorable for all of the right reasons :) Will see you again soon!

Food is good, but they are sloooow!

Been here twice when I was checking out the nearby temporary exhibit for V of BTS. No matter what size group you're in, it takes a while for the food and a very long time to flag someone to get you your bill. I've dined inside twice and haven't been outside in the patio, so maybe it's different out there.

I've gotten their iced green tea ($3), hiyashi cold noodles ($18.80 -- a summer menu item), and the happy hour jinya bun ($4). The cold noodles are delicious on a hot day. The jinya bun is a slab of pork belly in a peking duck kind of thick bun (though not really a bun in the traditional Asian sense -- more of an open face bun) -- great to try, but can get filling if you're ordering this plus a full bowl of ramen or something else.

I had parked on the street nearby, so scored some free 2 hour parking. There's limited paid street parking closer to Jinya, but I don't recall seeing an actual lot for this place. Also note that they only have one restroom - single stall for all genders, so you may have to wait a while if there's a lot of people at Jinya.

Aye, Google fan, listen... If you a fan of Ramen, this is the place! The staff was nice and knowledgeable about the menu, it's a small place but really nice and you can eat outside where the fireplace is. The food was awesome and I had this alcoholic Japanese drink in a can that is buy a supply of if I could, definitely check this spot out of your ever in Cali!!! Check the photos

Had their spicy ramen. One of the best broths I’ve ever had. Marianna & Carson are lovely. Vibe outside is so cozy. 10/10 recommend.

Best ramen in LA! If you love spicy ramen, get the Tonkatsu Red. You will not be disappointed.
