A Lazy Sunday and a Lazy Daisy cafe to start the day things got bettah. :D Let’s begin!
Lazy Daisy Cafè is a colorful quaint outdoor cafe located on Pico blvd and 23rd st in Santa Monica. This little café offers an all-day menu of breakfast omelets, french toast, pancakes, sandwiches and salads as well as an espresso.
I came as a first time customer and was met with a nice smile and greeting from a female hispanic hostess. It has mostly outdoor seating. I perused their menu and it has a modest food and drink items. I had a French Toast Special x Iced Coffee. Both taste good and modestly satisfying.
Service was impeccable. Staff were cordial, attentive and professional. Prices were super reasonable despite its location. Street Parking was available and easy to park.
Overall, it’s a nice cafe to grab a quick breakfast or lunch in a quiet street. I recommend you visit.

This specific location on Pico blvd has a pretty spacious shaded patio space. Multiple size tables to seat 2,4, 6+ persons per group. Parking is very small but you will be able to find street parking across the street because there is a park located there. Their menu is quite large with multiple choices for breakfast and lunch. Service is fast and presentation was top notch. The food was very VERY delicious Everything was good. By the way it's not a bougee place, just very chill and laid back. I got their breakfast burrito, hot chocolate and French Toast and im telling you it was fire!!!!

Food was fabulous, service could have been just a tad bit more attentive, indoor seating would be great for rainy/cold days.

I had ordered a cake which was not fresh. When I mentioned, the server just laughed and did nothing. Also, I had ordered one coffee, but they charged me as two. It was such an unpleasant experience.

20 minutes to take my order, no exaggeration. Amazing food I Signal to three different waiters and they all acknowledged me and never came to take my order . They got the name LAZY DAISY for a reason …

very casual cute Santa Monica spot with outdoor patio both covered and uncovered. The place was not crowded when we went, but we were told the kitchen was slammed and there would be a wait for our food, which was accurate.

This casual spot is my go-to for breakfast and lunch, especially after soccer practice with my son at Virginia Park, which is conveniently located right across the street. Although I haven't visited their other two locations, this one has never disappointed. The menu might seem simple at first glance, but it's brimming with options. My personal favorite is the huevos rancheros, while my son can't get enough of their Breakfast Pancakes, which are served with two eggs any style and a choice of bacon or sausage. The seating is primarily outdoors, so I recommend bringing an extra layer if you plan to dine on the patio. A highlight for me is that they serve breakfast all day.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian will definitely find some great options in their menu.
Parking: They have a very small lot accommodating only a few vehicle. Better luck to park in the street or in the Virginia Park parking.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly place with great options and menu items for them.
