Absolutely HATE this place. I should have known walking in here that it was empty which was a sign for me to walk out. No special sushi listed on the walls therefore no special fish imported here. Everything was mediocre. Miso soup was alright. We asked for spicy edamame except what was given boiled edamame sprinkled with a bland chili powder. Tsk. Fish doesn’t taste fresh at all. D-grade sushi, super basic, and disappointing. If you want to save money and only have a couple dollars to name come here for stale fish.

The food was delicious. We ordered the grilled Hamachi, tempura udon, and the highway 3 roll. The udon had a good amount of tempura and even 2 pieces of shrimp. I like how the tempura was served separately and not soaking in the udon. The grilled hamachi was plentiful (more like an entree than an appetizer) and delicious. And the service was excellent-- there were quite a few people in the restaurant that evening and the waitress did a good job of juggling all the tables.

I called ahead and made a reservation for two, but when I got there I found they had given my table to someone else. This defeats the purpose of accepting reservations. Don't take reservations if you aren't going to honor them.

the sushi quality was impeccable! we started with miso soup, edamame and crispy rice. the miso soup was 10/10, it had everything you’d want in a miso soup. the crispy rice was slightly overdone and hard to bite into but i dipped it into my miso soup and it was delicious. i got the tuna maki, the salmon and albacore nigiri which were super buttery. i’ll definitely stop by next time.
