P.F Chang's represents a more upscale Asian casual dining experience, but the quality of the food has been on almost an exponential decline throughout the height of its popularity in the early 2000s. In addition, the portion sizes are considerably smaller than previously accustomed to. What's going on? Less expensive , local mom 'n pop amero-Chinese places in the area will give PF a run for their money. Just Yelp them. Still, there a few items still worthy of ordering, but the majority of their offerings are not worth the price of a dine-out experience. DON'T: get any of the entrees with fried chicken/shrimp . Expensive, there's nothing special; I've had better luck with fast-food Chinese franchises over this. None of the pepper steak/Mongolian beef entrees are worth it. With smaller portions And a hefty price tag, just skip it. If you must get an entree, I'd recommend the more simpler dishes like chicken with broccoli . DO: strangely enough, their appetizers are much, much better than their entrees. Their one culinary savior and shining star : hot 'n sour soup. Blend of spicy with a soured-like and slightly bitter aftertaste, this would honestly be the only item I can fully approve . Lettuce beef appetizer -- alright. But for 16 dollars? Ugh. The cost of an entree at other places. Not worth it. P.S. P.F. Chang, you kinda stink.

Food poisoned from their shrimp fried rice yesterday. Place is noisy, look dirty. Windows are filthy. They packed everyone on one side of the restaurant and leave the whole other side unused which is really stupid it's especially during a pandemic. One of the oldest and ugliest PF Chang's too.

Ordered the chicken broccoli. Food was what was expected. It was just ok. There was a strand of black hair in my food though. Not worth going back to complain.

Very very good service, very good food. Only thing is , when we ordered Dan dan noodles back in the days it was crunchy, this time it wasn't how dan dan noodles used to be, BUT it was still tasty. The service were superb. Thank you for making our experience back a very good one.

Good food, especially the ribs, seafood dishes and their excellent chocolate cake, plus a warm and welcoming atmosphere with great service. Large portions so be prepared to take home leftovers.

So I'm not the biggest fan of Chinese food and PF Chang's was always near my home. It was at the bottom of the mall at Beverly center on la cienaga. It was always crowded. The food was NOT BAD but not something I'd always want. My girlfriend now, G-D bless her and every part of her, loves Chinese food, so I'm forced to go to these Chinese restaurants like Xian, or Panda Express. Happy wife happy life they say. What happens to the man in the process of happy wife happy life. Anyway, I decided to surprise her and take her to P.F. Chang's because the one near our home closed down. We drove to Santa Monica and sat inside and ate. Honestly, the food was pretty damn good. I've been craving it since then but again, I'm not the biggest fan of Chinese food, too much oil. We got orange chicken and it literally tasted like oranges which was amazing. The beef and broccoli was amazing and the sauce was so good on it that I poured it onto my rice and ate. Overall it was a great experience. She was so happy, it made it easier for me to come home and ask her to do the laundry, which I ended up doing myself anyway cause she doesn't know how to do it but G-D bless her.

Good customer service but the restaurant doesn't allow dine in, just take out.

Wasted my time today. Ordered food for pick-up at a particular time. After 20 minutes of waiting, asked for a full refund and left. The manager explained they were doing a catering order that caused the delay. Over a dozen workers running around and I was the only customer in the place. Won't ever be going back.

I called last night to see if they were open for dine in and they were but not taking reservations. My parents were coming in town from a long drive. (The week before we ate at the PF Chang‘s in Sherman Oaks - they take reservations and had no problem.) They told me there wasn’t a wait at that time but when we showed up...first they said there was a two hour wait then one hour and when I complained because there were plenty of open tables “6ft apart” so they said there wasn’t enough staff. Needless to say they had 4 hostesses and one worthless manager, standing around doing nothing. They just didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing. Terrible customer service. Needless to say-we went to a Thai restaurant across the street and were seated immediately. Obviously poorly managed P.F. Chang at the location in Santa Monica. I would not recommend wasting your time eating there or getting takeout which is another nightmare. :(

We live just down the street, but haven't been here for a few years. The manager Patrick was helping some older folks before us and he was so nice to them. I don't see that too often anymore. Then he helped us with our "to go" order and he just made me feel happy. During Covid niceness means more than it ever did before. Got Orange Chicken and veggie fried rice (without those little white things -- Patrick took care of that too). Food was delicious! Will be going back more because of Patrick and the good food.

My son treated me to P. F. Chang a few months ago... In the past .. I always loved P. F. Chang's in Manhattan Beach... But as you probably know .. The Manhattan's Beach location closed... So he picked up the food from the Santa Monica Location... I was very disappointed .. The shrimp were nearly the size of Bay-Shrimp... Not the nice size they were before Covid... The quality of the food was quite different... No Thank-You P. F. Chang .. I'm cool on You...

This place is worth a visit. They have big portions for reasonable rates. Consistently neat and with fantastic mood. Will visit here again.

two days ago was our first time in this magnificent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the exceptional dishes and booze and with the friendly pay. We will surely go back there soon.
