Such a great find in Santa Monica! Great Happy Hour menu for both food and drinks and goes all day on Mondays. We asked our server what the ‘can’t miss’ menu items were and he nailed it. Corn ribs are the showstopper. The sashimi was so fresh. The black garlic shrimp was a little too salty for me but still a great flavor. Pork belly tacos were also a huge hit. I’d definitely go back.

I stopped by Shirubē on Saturday night around 8 pm and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was lively, but not overwhelming, with a fun mix of locals and tourists. What really stood out was the incredible karaoke selection – they have over 100 songs to choose from! I ended up singing my heart out to a few Japanese classics in front of a crowd that politely clapped along – it's clear the staff is used to having big performances happen in this place.
