As someone from the east coast I always have to get doughnuts when I come out west, and Randy’s reaffirmed why. The raised doughnuts especially are spectacular. The flavors are good but the texture and bite is outstanding. No way to go wrong no matter what you buy though, everything was excellent.

I was greeted with a warm welcome, I asked what the top sellers were, and I settled for the original glaze, and Nutella “high top” I think it was called
Both have by far stollen my top rated donut ever.

Update: I went back two days later for round 2, and it was just as good. Later in the afternoon leaves less choices of donuts. I would recommend going earlier in the day to get the full menu/experience.
Second time around I got the Maple of course because I’m Canadian. It was delicious!
Also ordered the OG glaze because it was so good the first time. And the price point for the OG is under 3 bucks.

I don't recommend the lemon donut. It's too sweet and has too much flavor, but the basic glazed donut was really delicious more than anything else. The price was reasonable and I understand why it's famous. Be sure to try this.

I visited on a trip from Japan. I arrived at this shop in search of junky donuts that are unique to America. It was about a 15-20 minute walk from downtown Santa Monica. I don't think it would be a problem to walk during the day, but at night, there are homeless people and drug addicts wandering around the surrounding roads, so I thought it would be better to take an Uber.
The donuts are twice the size and twice as sweet as Japanese Mister Donuts. This is a donut shop with reasonable prices that I would like to see expand into Japan.
Also, regarding customer service, they were happy to accommodate our orders even though we are not good at English.

My friends took me here after celebrating my birthday at a restaurant because they know I like the M&M raised donut here which I go most of the time to their Burbank location. We came like an hour before they were closing so we found parking just fine in the back but be aware that parking is limited here. When we walked inside, I didn't see M&M raised donut on the display so I asked the guy working and he told me they won't have a lot of donut so what I see is what they got. I ended up picking the regular glazed donut and also ordered a large iced spicy chai latte for my wife. While I was waiting for the drink to come out, I went to use the bathroom which you need a code to get inside. Once I came out, I saw my drink was done but it was the medium size. I checked the receipt and I couldn't tell if I paid for the medium or large because it just said the cup size. I just left it as is and went outside to eat my donut with my friends in their outside patio. The glazed donut was fine to me but I would've prefer the M&M Raised donut. If you sit outside, you'll most likely going to see homeless people walking around or sitting in the patio or just the screaming so be aware.

Vegetarian options: I don't know if they have a vegan donut here.

Parking: You can try street parking or park in the back lot but parking spots is very limited

Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly but if you sit outside you might start seeing or hearing homeless people in the area.

Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible and there a ramp here as well.
