“Honestly, most of the pizzas I had in LA were either too salty or just average.
But SAMO PIZZA is the real deal.

We had the BBQ chicken pizza and the pepperoni supreme, and all 10 of us ate until we were full.
The taste was absolutely perfect—worth every bit of the time and money.

“Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

Mimi is a warm, consummate professional who can handle anything, events-wise, and the space is versatile for any kind of casual and convivial gathering. This place is one of my favorite “third spaces” for working when I need a change of environment from the home office (there are tables that overlook the pool), painting (I’m a huge fan of the paint and sip classes) or just hanging out. Neighbors can consider it a great resource for meals and snacks off the beach (and anytime), entertaining for occasions and even just to grab a bottle of wine or party-food supplies for friends who drop by. “I was hankering for a good pastrami sandwich so tried this place based on the beloved reviews. Classic Jewish deli and everyone in there was enjoying themselves. Good sign. I ordered a half sandwich and it was divine. I wish the breading had held together better from the juiciness of the pastrami. Coleslaw was also pretty good. It was all super rich for my taste. Glad I only ate half cause a whole would have made my colon a rotting corpse.“

I love the mama Chen salad and not so friend chicken sandwich , the soups are great…curried couscous is my absolute weakness and today for the first time I tried their Aqua Fresca (bc the employee gave me a free cup) and it was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted!

“I make a pick up order so I don't know what the atmosphere is like but the food and service for pick up all really good. Highly recommend. I got a whole chicken and used it throughout the week for lunch and dinner. I also get their bottled dressings and salad and make wraps for lunches. I love their mashed potatoes and gravy. “I love Sweetgreen! Someone at my office had ordered catering/delivery and offered me a salad. I tried the kale caesar with chicken and loved it! I went back to the Culver City location and also tried the Santa Monica (4th street location) and they were both great! I usually ask for extra dressing, since it does come with a lot of lettuce. It is very filling and definitely has enough lettuce for two salads. At the Santa Monica location, I went on my lunch and one of the employees was super helpful! She helped me retrieve my order quickly and easily, since I was slightly pressed for time. Would definitely recommend Sweetgreen!“
