Shake Shack Santa Monica

Needed a quick bite to recharge and got the burger. Was cooked well. This location is slightly different from others I've been to where instead of a buzzer to get your food they bring it to you.

This company was great!! I absolutely loved the burgers and the shake was superb. However, the burger was not proportionate to the cost. Essentially you gave me a McDouble sized burger for Big Mac prices. Past that good job on the burger, just make them bigger if you want to charge big prices.

Pros:
1) Lots of seating both inside and out.
2) Decent sized parking lot, but I can see it getting full when the restaurant gets crowded. When I went to pick up my food, there were only a couple of open spots, and the restaurant was only about a quarter full. I'm thinking people are parking there and going somewhere else nearby.
3) Meat was nicely charred and tasty, bun not too big. My wife really likes the Black Truffle 'Shroom. I liked the taste of the Shack Burger.
4) Cringle-cut fries are decently crispy.

Cons:
1) My Shack Burger could have used more fixings (lettuce & tomato), it was very sparse.
2) Prices are a bit high, but manageable. I thought it was because this location is located in Santa Monica, where the rents are high and tourists are plentiful, but I went on their website and tried ordering at other locations across the country and the prices are the same.
3) I had a hard time ordering on shakeshack.com. Every time I tried adding something, it wouldn't go into the bag, i.e., I would click Add to Bag, I would see the button turn to Added with a checkmark, but the bag wouldn't have anything. I thought it might be my browser, but the same thing happened on Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. I was able to place an order using the mobile app, though.

Vegetarian options: The Black Truffle 'Shroom is pretty tasty.

Parking: Parking lot in back off 5th Street, but it seems to be pretty full even when there aren't a lot of customers inside.

Hey you guys so I went the shake shack. The location isn't bad but the parking is like none. But it was clean and service was quick because it wasn't that busy. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't the best burger I've ever had. But I didn't get a picture of the strawberry shake but it was really good.

Decent place for a freshly cooked burger and fries I always order it with extra sauce and I don't get the mushrooms I add onions and pickles as well because normally doesn't come with them
Better bring your checkbook because they're charging you as much as they can get I don't think it's the employee's fault but the corporations are definitely taking advantage of all the hysteria over inflation

We ordered our food, sat down and waited. 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes goes by and still nothing. People who ordered their food after ours were still getting there before us! When I went up and asked the guy who served us where our food was, his response was “yeahhhh” and he carried on doing what he was doing and didn’t check where our food was. It wasn’t until someone else came up to me and asked if everything was ok we, it was at that point we got our food within minutes. The guy that was serving people on 9th November needs to have a rethink.
