I have never been to this location, but I had to leave a 5 star review for the amazing help of Alexandra. My daughter visited the shop while on her band trip for the Rose Parade and left her crossbody purse behind. Alexandra, THANK YOU for all of your help. I'm 1700+ miles away, but if I ever get out to Santa Monica I will be making a stop in. ❤️

I paid $6.75 for a waffle cone and barely got one scoop of ice cream. I was so irritated that I just trashed it.

Ever since last Friday, after lunch, I thought about stopping by this place to try ice cream soda since it's a cloudy, but a hot day. The ice cream soda tastes amazing (Coke Float is what I love for a hot summer day) that I drank the whole thing. That is much all I can say besides what an amazing ice cream soda they serve :)

Fresh Ice Cream that shares space with a Carousel! ?So wonderful. This is at the bottom of the ramp at the Santa Monica Pier. You can make it your first stop or your last. The Carousel is absolutely beautiful and the ice cream was creamy and fresh.Would love to come back again.

Location was nice, it was a classic beachside shop. Sweets were nice and affordable, especially compared to everything else on the pier! Basically no wait when we went and the service was super fast too! It was super cool seeing them make our treats right in front of us! I would definitely come again!

Super cheap and tasty ice cream! They get ice cream from Fosselman's (Alhambra) which is rich and delicious. It was $7 for a massive sundae with two scoops, two different toppings, a mountain of whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry. That's an unheard of price for a sundae on the pier, especially when you can sit outside and look at the ocean. Plenty of outdoor seating and really quick/nice service. The cappuccino and cookies and cream flavors were really good, and the hot fudge and caramel took it to another level. They also have a single scoop for $4 if you're looking for a smaller treat. I'm not sure how this place doesn't have a line with how delicious the ice cream is and how reasonable the prices are.

The best price for ice cream in Santa Monica in a really cool location that the kids love to visit. You can park at the promenade and walk down and back fast enough to park for free

We had to stop by Soda Jerks while visiting Santa Monica Pier. The prices here are amazing and what we tried were so good. Our son got The P.C.H. sundae which consists of 1 scoop of rocky road topped with marshmallows, and one scoop of chocolate chip topped with hot fudge. My husband tried the Ken's 50/50 shake (vanilla and orange sherbet shake), and I got mint chip malted. Each was $6.95 which is almost too cheap for what we got. There are also sorbet options which are probably vegan if you want that. The sundae was actually big enough for us to share, and we drank our shakes all the way home (long drive to Long Beach where we were staying). There are a lot of tables right opposite the ice cream stall.

I chose this ice cream place as it was the only one on the pier that had hot fudge.I ordered a two scoop Sunday, with strawberry ice cream and chocolate mint ice cream. Hot fudge was to go over the strawberry and caramel over the chocolate mint.I noticed there was hardly any fudge on my strawberry ice cream, so I asked if I could have a side of hot fudge. The young man brought me a small cup and when I went to pour it I noticed it was extremely thin and not the consistency of hot fudge, but rather chocolate syrup. Upon tasting it, I confirmed my suspicions.I then told the young man I believe this is chocolate syrup, not hot fudge. He looked me square in the eye, and told me no that's hot fudge ma'am.I'm almost 60 years old and I'm quite familiar with the difference between chocolate syrup and hot fudge. But Sunday was very disappointing the taste was bland at best. And then being served chocolate syrup and being told that it was hot fudge was a little insulting. The service was not great and I was severely disappointed and left my Sunday behind and left..

I've never had a soda j*** before so my friend and I decided to get one drink to try. We ordered a sprite soda j*** with orange flavor. It was quite interesting to see the worker make the soda in front of us.Taste wise, it was similar to drinking cough medicine with a little bit of carbonation. The fizzle isn't as strong as the typical sodas from cans or vending machines. The sweetness is also not as strong. I personally wasn't too fond of the taste but it was an interesting experience.

The service goes with the name for sure. Four people too busy talking and laughing to serve their customers. When I got my ice cream, I dropped it after like 30 seconds and went back to tell the guy. I don't mind paying for another scoop but this older guy was like- I don't care x 5 times to his coworker (presumably getting me another? Idk) and proceeded to continuously tell me $4. ( Yeah I know, I literally just bought it a minute ago. This guy has no manners towards his coworkers and customers. Good ice cream but wouldn't return for the disrespect. Giving 2 stars because the younger male employee was nice at least

The ice cream float and sundae tasted good. There's indoor and outdoor seating, super convenient and well priced. I got my order wrong and the person serving me helped make the order I want. Really happy with the fast service

Whoever the older man is working there is really rude. A girl asked how much is this candy and the guy said 0.10 cents. She asked how many can I get with a dollar and he answered did you go to school? Do you know basic math? He then proceeded to tell her I’m going to let you figure it out and walked away. The girl looked embarrassed and walked away. In conclusion A: she probably has a learning disorder, B: she probably was considering tax. To top it off he sat there and talked about her while I was there enjoying my drink with the other employees . This really is a soda j*** for sure .
