As always, everything we ordered was perfect: fried cauliflower, oxtail ravioli, lamb bites, peach/burrata salad, crab cake, gnocchi, and all 3 desserts! Service great, love the attitude of all the people working there.
I don't heap praise without good reason. Tar & Roses was amazing literally on every level. The food, ambiance, service, attention to detail, and value were all excellent. Every plate was delicious, the staff were so welcoming, informative, and perfect in their timing of service, and it was a beautiful and relaxed space to have a special dinner. I even received a lovely follow up text from the general manager the next day thanking us for joining them. They are doing everything...
Truly, one of the best most consistent restaurants in LA. The menu and concept reflects the eclectic and wonderfully diverse nature of our city. Everything here is delicious. Nothing to me embodies the notion of native Los Angeles cuisine quite like Tar And Roses
