Stopped by the Chestnut club on a Wednesday evening and was pleasantly surprised! They had a live saxophone player, which set a cool, laid back vibe. the lighting is dim and moody - perfect for a mid-week drink without dealing with big crowds.
At first the bartender seemed annoyed over my friends wanted a fresh glass of wine, not from a bottle that has been sitting for days, but he warmed up later and became friendlier.
Overall, a nice spot for music and relaxing night out in Santa Monica.

Nice chill spot for a couple of drinks. Had a spicy passion fruit margarita (had a kick), espresso martini (sorta teeny), and the Women in Whiskey flight (a mixture of whiskey and bourbon). Our server was nice and attentive. Would definitely come back!

So this place is dead -not a lot of people there even thought I went on a Friday night still empty . Only got drinks didn’t eat.
however the DJ was playing amazing music so I just had to dance even if by myself. The drinks were also good

This place is a gem! Never crowded and great service! Cindy is the best bartender ever! This is prob my favorite hangout in SM! Food and drink are awesome! Try a cocktail on the menu!
