Planning our holiday event at Upper West Restaurant turned out to be an amazing decision.
The entire restaurant was decorated beautifully and looked very festive, and combined with great food and warm service, it became the perfect holiday party. Many of our company’s employees told me this was the best holiday party they’ve ever had.
From my first meeting with Fred, the process was simple and stress-free. He even helped me find the perfect DJ and assisted with decorating the tables and buffet, making everything come together seamlessly.

Excellent food, especially two diff fish, generous portion's. Only miss was non-alcoholic beer and ceviche, which were on the menu, requested by me, but not available.

The Upper West is such a great spot on the Westside. The atmosphere is lively, stylish, and welcoming perfect for a date night, dinner with friends, or even just drinks at the bar. The space feels energetic but still comfortable enough to actually enjoy your meal and conversation. The food was excellent everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really tell they pay attention to quality and presentation. The menu has a great variety, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for something light or a more filling entrée. The service was another highlight. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of without hovering. Drinks came out quickly, and the staff overall made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, The Upper West delivers great food, great vibes, and great service. Definitely a go-to spot in Santa Monica, and I’ll absolutely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

You can never go wrong bringing a friend from out of town here at Upper West, joining family members to celebrate or just coming over to have a really tasty and good quality healthy meal! The owners greet guests, servers are attentive and the food is amazing! We come here often and love the appetizers from the chopped salad, to the crunchy rice tuna and cauliflower, to their main staples steak tacos, their seabass and short ribs! Do not forget the pudding for dessert! Wine selection is also great!

Amazing food, cocktails and service! We had Roasted Cauliflower, Ahi with crunchy rice, Flatbread, & Ribs & Bread pudding for dessert. ... our server made great suggestions. Cocktails- Diablo, Ginger Margarita, Mojito & Rye were enjoyed by all. It was perfect to dine before a show at McCabes. Highly recommend!
