We can't stop talking about how amazing our experience at Upper West was last night. WHAT A GEM. Booking a reservation for our big group was a breeze, we were welcomed so warmly and the table setting was incredible. Everyone helping our table was so patient, accomodating and kind to our big table and food and drinks came out fast. The food and cocktails were all so good - many in the group are local and they were highly impressed. I recommend the crisy rice/spicy tuna, the burratta, the burger and pork tenderloin. Do yourself a huge favor and make a reservation here.

I have been going here for years because I like it so much. My favorite entree is the veggie burger with French fries. The owner is warm and welcoming, and the servers are attentive. The menu is diverse and delicious. The wine list is always interesting and varied, with many excellent offerings. We always leave satisfied and happy.

After 3 attempts to celebrate my family's birthdays, finally was able to secure the date! Yay! As usual, food was delicious and service was impeccable. We enjoyed appetizers, side dishes and of course the main courses along with our desserts. Char grilled Octopus Burrata, Garlicky Green Beans, Braised Short Ribs, Blackened Salmon, Coffee Crusted Kurobuta Pork Tenderloins. We all enjoyed Dark Roasted Coffee Ice Cream, Mixed Berry Sorbet and Coconut Basil Sorbet too!

Upper West was a standout. The menu is very inventive and delicious. We had the Ahi Tuna Crunchy Rice appetizer, and it was melt-in-mouth and satisfyingly crunchy at the same time. My daughter & I split the steak tacos (there is definitely enough for 2 people) and my husband had the salmon. The steak and salmon were top-notch in terms of quality of protein, and cooked to perfection. The service was phenomenal as well... seated immediately, and our server was extremely attentive. If we lived in the Santa Monica area, we would be at Upper West all the time.
