Cute, quirky shop with an open mic night on Fridays, featuring talented local musicians. Some familiar music, some original. Low-key and fun!
Did my very first music gig there in 2000.
Pretty bummed. Planned to meet here with a friend as it looked so cute and cozy for a study sesh but it’s just not open and the phone number listed leads to an error message. Would have loved to become a regular patron here but not with a business that just randomly doesn’t open!
Love it there! Fresh food and brews! Get there!!

Leaving five stars bc I don’t want to screw up their rating in case they reopen but they seem to currently not be open at all other than hosting AA meetings and maybe the Friday night open mic? Their website has more limited hours listed than are on Google maps but it’s been months since I saw them open even during those hours. Hope they can come back, the neighborhood needs a coffee shop open evenings.
Yeah same. It's 7:45p on a Tuesday and it's closed
I’m confused. Hours on google maps says they are open till 9pm. I just stopped by at 7pm on Tuesday and they were closed. Bummer
Just needed a caffeine boost after a day of running around town.
Old fashioned coffee shop, fast service, good latte.
Obviously set up for live music etc, with a back room that has seating , stage etc

You should ALWAYS call ahead. I live walking distance and have never seen this place open. I know they do donate their space to a lot of nonprofit groups, which is really cool. But a call ahead is necessary.

Oh wow! Another vegan place in LA 🙄 I was honestly excited to try this place but it’s nothing special if anything flavor was lacking. And the owner I think her name is pam was around, she was super uninviting and seemed annoyed to have people there. Wait staff can have bad days at work but an owner thinking they can act that way in front of customers seems like she should get a new job.
Pam the owners owned it for about 29 years there's a reason why it's been there this long she's really cool it's like the regal beagle of coffee shops the whole neighborhood goes there she even has like different clubs that go in there like a go club and they have open mic nights for bands and musicians it's just really cool place. And again I think it all stems from Pam the owner she's just such a awesome human being and it just you know it all comes from the owner the type of people she draws in.
I love their Ginger Elixir while I attend my Wednesday night Unurban AA meeting
Great drinks and food. Service is funamuniol
I have so many memories of this place! Was the coolest in town to hang out when I lived in LA. Open mics, comedy night.. I met so many friends there. Pam's awesome! Death before decaf!
