A comfortable place for NYers with lox, pastrami and pastrami lox plus caviar and more. Nice folks, every thing is fresh sliced and good sandwiches and combos.

The lox tasted like bland white fish, not even a hint of salmon

The coffee was below grade, and the food was stale. It is very expensive and has a small selection of sizes and options. I sat inside for a moment; the experience, food, and coffee were not it. There are many options around, so there is no need to return to this particular deli.

PLOTZABLE BAGELS & PASTRAMI
We don’t have a single spot in my hometown that makes legit pastrami and visiting this joint really hit the spot.
My husband and I visited here while our girls were traipsing about with their cousin.
We split a bagel with lox & cream cheese and a pastrami sandwich. Both were excellent.
If jonesing for some Jewish deli goodies while in Santa Monica, this is a great option.

They sold me raw fish meat with beagle and a lot of salt for $22, it tastes so bad i took a bite and throw it away. What pissed me off is i asked the guy that works there for a recommendation and he pointed at one of their expensive breakfasts and told me that is the best, it’s garbage!

Some of the best house made lox in the city. Highly recommend.

Dropped in for a “big poppa” to go early on a Saturday. I really appreciated that the eggs were made fresh and not microwaved like some breakfast sandwiches. The sandwich was tasty, but I could have gone for more pastrami on it. I thought having both cream cheese and cheddar on it would be overwhelming, but they were great! I do think the sandwich could be elevated by something acidic to cut through all the fat.

I had the cheesy egg breakfast sandwich on a double toasted everything bagel and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh made eggs, lots of melted cheese and one of the best bagels I’ve had in SoCal. Well done, folks! I also got a half pound of thinly sliced extra lean corned beef and I can say it was as good or better than Langer’s. Quite lean with tons of flavor. My only regret is that I forgot to ask for a pickle! Looking forward to going back.

Santa Barbara is notorious for fine dining. But sometimes you just want another option. Lucky for me I came across the Santa Barbara Public Market. But more specifically, I came across Wexler’s Deli! Wexler’s has the perfect selection of lunch options, each as delicious as the other. Whether you crave pastrami, turkey, or bagels with lox, you won’t be disappointed. It’s the best new stop for food within the SB Public Market.
