Incredible restaurant - food and service were amazing. We tasted 8 dishes and each beat the previous. The mussels were sensational, the escargot truly fine dining. Amazing, thank goodness for Starks opening this cuisine for Santa Rosa. Well done you all.

The atmosphere and service is very friendly. The food is average at best. I should not have ordered the burger. The brioche bun was not fresh tasting. The meat was overcooked with skimpy gruyere cheese topping; it should have had bernaise sauce. The artichoke was not soft. The pate was average. The gigondas wine did not taste like gigondas - very, very average. Overall, it's a fun restaurant. Perhaps I did not order well?

Great!Wonderful!A resounding sigh of relief for anyone looking for some authentic French food in Sonoma County. The Stark family has, I think eight combined restaurants now between Santa Rosa and Healdsburg. Everyone is enjoyable, one may speak to you more than the other, but for me Augie's French is near or at the top.Huge fan of Bravas, but that's for another review.Don't wait, go NOW!Oh, and sitting at the bar is where it's at.

I came in with a friend for our reservation, received a very pleasant greeting from the host and we were quickly escorted to our upstairs table. Our server, Mary, greeted us and explained the menu and specials and set the tone for a fantastic evening. She took fabulous care of us, was attentive but never hovered, and made great menu and wine suggestions. We would have ordered one of everything if we could have - it was all so delicious! On Mary’s recommendation, we ordered the Floating Islands for dessert - sigh and swoon! Overall, this was one of the nicest dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! I will be back and hope I’m lucky enough to have Mary as my server again!

I sat at the bar & as always, when sitting at the bar, service is great. I can in for a cocktail & ended up grabbing frites ? since it was happu hour with my vesper martini, both done excellent! This place is new to me, pleasure to fine here.If you want a proper cocktail, delish food, or just somewhere to chill with a beverage, this is the spot. You will want to avoid busy Friday or Dat nights if you like chill ambiance.Friday & Dat night, this is the spot for an upscale drink, dinner, or both! You won't be disappointed. It is a busy spot, so the vibe isn't chill, it's electric and fun. This is a fun destination spot that feels like a mini vacation. Thank you @Augie's, love my time with you.

Had an outstanding dinner there last night. Wife and kids celebrating my birthday. Started off witht he Oysters and the cheese plate. Can not go wrong with those. Yummy food. Then dinner came. Wife had the duck (as did one daughter). Both loved it. I had the sausage and it was extremely tasty. My other daughter enjoyed the butter salad. She loved it. Had a great bottle of wine. Enjoyed the caramel mousse and profiterals (sp) for dessert. All and all everything was great. Servers were wonderful, but I forgot to get their names. Very good at what they did. Definitely a must go.

A+ service and food. Beef Cheek, Salmon, Scallops, Onion Soup and Creme Brule (huge) were extremely well prepared. Beef fell apart with a fork, wonderful flavor. Potatoes under with the gravy, perfect fit. Scallop dish very rich. Cheesy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Sauce was stupid good. Probably was the highest A+. Onion soup was exactly what it should have been....Classic French Onion Soup. Salmon done very French style. Sauce was over the top good. Creme Brule was huge, biggest I have ever been served (over 100 times). More importantly, excellent flavor and texture (both custard and hard flamed top). Service was attentive, timely and not overbearing. Really awesome experience!!! Will be back very soon!!

I enjoyed the twist on classical French food. The duck was cooked to perfection and the sweetbread melts in your mouth. Staff was awesome and gave very educated recommendations.

A group of friends had dinner at Augie's last night. We loved the ambiance, the food, and the service. We started with cocktails. Two of the three were from the cocktail menu and were both beautiful and delicious. The third was a traditional maritini which was very good but skimpy, filling only 2/3 of the small cocktail glass. We enjoyed the wonderful French baguette but they brought us a small piece for 5 of us. We asked for more and got as much as we wanted but I think they should have been more generous at the start. We had Mussels & Frites, Salmon Paillard, and Duck Leg Confit. For dessert we had the profiteroles which were excellent and the brown butter chocolate caramel mousse which was a bit too salty.

Augie's exceeded my expectations! Loved the ambiance and the way they decorated the inside. Our waiter and staff were super nice. Kept checking on us to make sure our waters were full. The food was delicious! Even the complimentary bread and butter! The butter is salted and whipped, and spreading it on the bread made it that much better. We started with French onion soup and Coquilles St Jacques (scallops). The scallop dish blew me away! Scallops were cooked perfectly. The bacon on top gave the perfect crunch with the scallops and I loved the creamy sauce it was in. The soup was flavorful, and exactly what I think of when I get French onion soup. The duck confit was to die for! Perfectly crisp on the outside and the meat inside was tender. I loved the sauce with the potatoes and figs. One of the best duck confits I've had. My husband got the brown butter Parisian gnocchi, which melted in our mouths. I would say the gnocchi is on the softer side, but delicious anyway! The hazelnuts and cheese really added to the dish. We were too full for dessert, so next time we will get one and try new dishes! This place is 10/10 for sure.

We've been in now a few times and the food has been wonderful but the service was not matched this last time. We've sat at the bar and had a great time with the bartenders but our waitress last week was horrible. I think her name was Margaret. She was rude, rolled her eyes at us and wouldn't stop talking. I understand being friendly but we are trying to enjoy our dinner not talk the whole time. We were grateful they had space on a Sunday for a walk in but next time we'll make a reservation to avoid her.

So excited I finally got to try Augie's and for happy hour - my favorite! We had some oysters, pigs in a blanket, this cheesy bread thing, olives, and fried. Everything was fun to try but I definitely think I'll be back for fries and a cocktail or glass of wine. Their little patio paired with the attentive service is definitely worth going back for. I hope to check them out for dinner someday soon.

Great burger and drinks! Service was fast and love the decor and feel of the place! Have already been there twice in 3 months and ate the burger both times.
