The restaurant was a delight from the moment we walked through the door, it felt like we were in a pizzeria in Italy. The charming owner Ray was part of the amazing experience. We were only sat for a few minutes when he brought my daughter and some wine. The pizzas were out of this world. We had one with sausage and pepperoni and the other was devine was vegetarian with truffle oil, it was phenomenal. Everything about this restaurant was superb. The staff were great even though...
Food was good but not great, 4/5. Pizza took longer than expected (compared to other non-chain Italian restaurants who served a bit better pizza). Our server was polite but we regularly felt like we were being rushed, and this was odd since less than half of the tables were occupied. If she was worried about reservations that would come later, there would be seats available. 1st instance of being asked if we were done, my kids and husband were still obviously eating. 2nd instance...
The owner walking around checking on the tables is very sweet. The pizzas are made in a massive oven, and you can see them loading in the wooden logs. Ours was made perfectly with large portions for a great price. Would recommend.
