I go to El Coqui a lot and it’s always amazing. The food is consistently vibrant, flavorful and authentic. I highly recommend Pollo al Horno with sweet plantains to perfectly seasoned mofongo and hearty rice and beans plates. The portion sizes and quality stay top-notch every time. Randomly I wandered upon this restaurant. Since my sister in law is Puerto Rican I texted her the menu. I showed the text message straight to my waitress. I really had no clue what I was getting myself into but the food was incredible. I had enough for two meals and I wish I was local because I would eat here regularly.
