I hadn't eaten at pollo loco for years, when did they change the recipe it didn't taste like I remember and the chicken they use are so small it looked more like a pigeon

The food is excellent--very fresh and reasonably priced. The service, on the other hand is the worst! I stood at the counter (My daughter & I were the only ones in line) for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged! 10 MINUTES! There only service was to the drive-thru customers. They had no one working the counter at all! When the young woman finally came up and took our order, she acted like we were bothering her! It was at least another 10 minutes before we received our food. I don't know if I'll ever go back.

Just dropped off a makeshift Walderwheeler to Koomba Gnu Gugguumba out at his little strip of property on Guerneville Road so he can properly capture those pesky opossums, and raccoons that he plans to eat. He was pretty happy getting the apparatus set and armed, so happy he went to El Pollo Loco, and brought back a great lunch! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

i paid extra for an extra sauce and the lady at the drive thru only gave me one:( wish i got the other sauce but i understand that she was flustered with other drive thru orders.

We really like the food here, great flavor, good options, and reasonable prices! The only downside is that they focus more on the drive-thru customers. If you go inside to order and eat, be ready for a long wait. Today we waited 25 minutes while over 10 cars were served before us. Honestly, it’s probably faster to go through the drive-thru and then park to eat inside — haha! Still, the food is worth it!!
