Not an amazing experience. Decent place and coffee. Apparently they are closing this location in Santa Rosa due to COVID and no negotiations from landlord. Sad to know.

This location will be permanently closed on 12/28/20 per a notice posted. Staff told me their lease was not renewed.

I am from out of town and stopped by here to grab a cup of coffee to go. It was so good and the staff are super friendly!

I used to love this place but over the summer I asked for almond milk in my latte. "We are out." Ok cool that's fine. But I came back a few months later, and I asked for almond milk: "We don't have almond milk." I said Oh, are you out? or do you not serve it? "um, yeah kinda" um.... what does that mean? I hate oat milk and soy isn't good for you so I unfortunately can't come here anymore. Such a bummer cause its been my favorite place since 2010. Also they acted SO ANNOYED that I even asked for it. Acre has way nicer employees!

I'll be honest, I came in here jazzed to start the day but the cashier at the front counter totally drained the positive vibe with his rather unenthusiastic attitude. No exaggeration here since those around me came to the same consensus. Same goes for the barista who gave us the drinks without any explanation of what's in the identical white cups. On the other hand, the drinks weren't bad and there's a QR code for online ordering available inside the store (not immediately obvious when you're standing outside waiting). The flavor in the lavender coffee was actually pronounced enough to fully taste the lavender inside the drink.

Arrived a few minutes before closing so I wasn't expecting a full shop experience (taking into account covid as well), Service-- however upon arriving I immediately felt unwelcomed and the barista in charge seemed discouraged that I arrived so late. Coffee-- I had coffee grounds in my americano and my partners cappuccino was extremely burnt-tasting and unpleasant (overextracted). Looked like a cool place to get coffee online, but was disappointed by the experience. **I understand how important reviews are on yelp during covid, but we wouldn't have minded the rude service if the coffee was decent. Likewise we wouldn't have minded bad coffee if the service was respectful. Disappointing on both fronts, and pushed us to write this review.

Handling social distances well. Mexican mocha was excellent but vegan pastries were very dry & tasteless.

The coffee here is delicious in my opinion. However there are a lot of other choices to get get coffee in vicinity and this place is not always customer friendly. They close early or decide to shut down on a whims notice so if it's your routine to patronize them, you could be sorely disappointed to find them closed. Most baristas are very nice but some have a horrible hipster I'm too cool for you attitude and might have pleasure in telling you "sorry but we just closed" if they decided to shut down early. I waiver on giving them only two stars because they are not adapting to Covid well. I have sympathy for small businesses but this place doesn't seem to be making much of an effort to stay open or keep people informed of their hours or wanting people to continue to support them. I'm wondering if they are planning to shut down and just don't care anymore or if they are just that arrogant? Anyway, coffee's not bad but there ARE other choices around.

What a great coffee place! Nice and clean inside, quite. Plenty of room to wait for order inside or out, social distancing practiced. Very friendly staff, the barrista made a great cup of coffee. And they have delicious bakery items, all wrapped up nicely. Cute shop next to railroad tracks.

They have the best American-style scones I have ever had. The coffee is sourced and prepared with care. It's right next to the train depot so it's convenient as well.

Best coffee in town.

Best espresso beans in Sonoma county! ...I buy ‘em and pour ‘em into my Jura machine at home

Coffee is delicious. Fast courteous service. 2 stars are for the large milk cartons being left out for the customer in front of me to open with his hands. He used a napkin, but if he hadn't the barista would not have known any different - she was not looking at him. Hygiene and cleanliness are part of her job. She literally told him get the milk from the carton himself. How about a safe and sanitary way for customers to get milk for their coffee during this pandemic, eh? Don't let customers open community milk cartons with their hands that require touching the carton where the milk is being poured from. Gross.5 stars for that customer for having the decency to use a napkin.
