I have been coming here since I was little. I continue to love it. I love their ice cream, their bionicos (fruit salad with cream, granola and coconut and raisins), their aguas frescas. My favorite ice cream flavors are queso (cheese), chongos, mamey, and rose petal.

The staff were amazing and very patient! She allowed us to taste test some of the flavors and was being very kind throughout my interaction with her. I had the coffee and peanut butter chocolate chip scoop in the smallest cup size. The coffee tasted good as expected! There was a cappuccino flavor I taste tested that was similar and contained nuts in it! The peanut butter chocolate chip flavor was amazing! There was no big peanut butter cup chunks in it and was more blended in with the ice cream than other places I have been to, but I prefer this! Would come here again to satisfy an ice cream/yogurt fix.

We love Fru-ta! Have been here a few times now. We take our niece here after the Howarth Park playgrounds, as part of our fun weekly playdate. We've had the banana chocolate chip, the strawberry cookies and cream and the regular cookies and cream and it's all been good. The fruit ice creams taste of real fruit... not too surprising given the name of the place. The strawberry has been intensely strawberry, and the banana intensely banana. No artificial flavors here. The cookies and cream portion has huge chunks of cookies, and taste how you want it to. You can just tell whoever is making this ice cream, they care. They want it to taste great. You can tell that they were making their own ice cream before they had their own shop, and want to share their joy with the world without skimping on the ingredients. I don't know if that's their story, but that's how it tastes. Our barely two year old niece of course loves it here. She's so cute, trying to say hi to the woman behind the counter after she tastes the ice cream. Very smart to make friends with the ice-cream lady. :) Can't wait to try more flavors and perhaps some of their other stuff on the menu.

I always forget there's a Fru-ta in Rincon Valley! I stopped by with my little brother for an ice cream date and when we walked in staff was very welcoming and polite. While I did find the price point for 2 ice creams and 2 drinks on the higher end than what I expected, both the ice creams and drinks were honestly really good. The shop is very clean and indoor/outdoor seating is ample. I had the Nutella ice cream and a Strawberry drink. My brother had a Raspberry ice cream and Guava drink. We enjoyed our ice cream outside and enjoyed the sun. Overall Fru-ta is a must try if you have a sugar craving, bonus points because most choices on the menu are preservative/additive free. Friendly staff, yummy choices. 9/10.

Omg love love love fru-ta! Their ice cream is so good, love the banana split! They have so many delicious flavors! We like to sit inside or outside, staff are friendly!
The paletas outshone the ice cream for us! We loved the cookies and cream, pistachio, mango, and pineapple. They were perfectly sweet and flavors were true. The fruit bars even had real chunks of fruit!

I am awe of this place! They have so many amazing options for popsicles, ice creams, shakes, and many, many specialty items! I haven’t tried anything I didn’t love - which is uncommon when so much variety is available! That would be amazing enough on its own, but they also have THE BEST counter service in the county. The people who help me have always been extremely professional, helpful, and kind. I hope Fruta is paying them well because they deserve it! Can’t wait to try more from the menu. Thank you Fruta!
