Grossman’s Noshery & Bar Reviews
I still recommend but have to say disappointed today in a few items.
1. the coleslaw flavor was fine but now is minced so small it feels like you are eating baby food and tastes bland
2. the cornbeef was surprisingly on the dry side
3. cheesecake totally dry crust and flavor just average and strawberry topping soggy
4. soup was terrific
the quality of food seems to be going down and that’s sad
The Benedict is the bomb!
Great Food & Drinks with a beautiful pet friendly patio.

Grossman’s Noshery & Bar is a downtown Santa Rosa institution and a must-stop in Wine Country. The room hums with energy, and the whole experience feels both classic and current. It is the kind of place locals rely on and visitors are thrilled to discover.
The menu features authentic Jewish deli items and diverse, delicious food with large, fresh portions. Standout dishes include the Brooklyn Bagel Sandwich with house-made lox on a sesame bagel, described as a game changer, and Bubbie’s Breakfast Sandwich with griddled house-made pastrami on toasted ciabatta. The pastrami is called otherworldly. The hot lebowski hotdog is noted as worth trying. Bloody Marys are practically a meal in themselves, perfectly spiced and generously topped. Most items, including the breads, are made from scratch.
Service is consistently described as warm, efficient, and outstanding. The restaurant is very popular and can get very loud at peak lunch hours, so making a reservation ahead of time is recommended. Street parking can be challenging. With excellent food, great drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere, it is a favorite that never disappoints.
