Hotel next door recommended this spot. Not bad for southern food, the Cajun eggs Benedict came with a kick. Banana foster platter was okay, we didn't appreciate the fried green tomato for our taste. Other than that great little dinner if you are in the area.

Nice southern food spot - can't speak to authenticity as I've never been down South. But I did enjoy it and would reccomend.

Came in on a weekday for lunch around noon and we were seated right away in a booth. Service was friendly! Interior decorations are Bayou-themed and fun. Menu is large and pretty standard for an American brunch/lunch place. My boyfriend and I ordered two entrees to split. The first was the stacked chicken and waffles, which isn't on the main menu but is inserted (possibly seasonal?). My first impression was that it was extremely saucy. This was not a surprise given the menu description but I wished that the sauces were more on the chicken and less on the top half of the waffle. I am a fan of sweet/savory combos in general, but I will say that the ranch on the waffle was a bit off-putting to me. Again, would've been great on the chicken. The chicken itself was decently crispy. The dish also came with a side of maple syrup but given that there was already some drizzled on the plate, the waffles were definitely dressed enough without me needing to add more syrup. I also removed the giant pad of butter; while I am a fan of butter on waffles, it was all just a lot. If I ever ordered this again I might consider requesting all the sauces on the side, because I think by themselves both the chicken and waffles were decent, just over-saturated and overwhelmed with other flavors. The second entree we tried was the breakfast burrito with sausage. We asked for the Creole sauce on the side, and this was kind of like a salsa-adjacent tomato and onion sauce with a pretty thin consistency and lots of veggie chunks. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the burrito was incredibly under-seasoned. Salt definitely helps, but I was very underwhelmed with this burrito. The cheese melted on top was an interesting choice but once it cooled down it wasn't great. Decent ratio of ingredients inside the burrito, but overall pretty unimpressive.

I really like this place. Good food large portions Great waiters and waitresses. They seat you promptly .The prices are abt the same as everywhere here except you walk out full with leftovers

My food was not too warm, and it was all pretty greasy. The food was very subpar. I don't recommend this restaurant for those who are looking to get breakfast. My potatoes were charred up, seemed like they were scrapped off the bottle of a griddle, my medium eggs were more like over easy, and the heaping pile of butter was gross.

The amount of delicious food you get is outstanding and served with a smile . Sourdough breads are standard fare. Biscuits should be weighed they are so big. Wonderful staff and good

Twice in a row of trying to give this location a shot has failed miserably. The food is just not made well. The only bright side of my experience this last time was spending time with my sister. The server was great, she was friendly knowledgeable and had a great attitude, even took my sandwich off the bill because she saw I didn't like it.

Well done here! Good, comfortable, and plentiful food. A warm thematic decor. The southern comfort food is very well done and the value is good. Its a great place for families, friends, kids, or business meetings.

We had a party of over 25. Reserved room months ahead of time. We often dine here and have never had a problem. We love the food etc. Except today on this special occasion, our waitress (Daniella) was very unprofessional and rude. At first she stated that she was the only waitress there and was flustered because of the amount of people we had there. She took our orders and was not friendly either. I asked for a kids menu and she refused to do that because she was in a hurry. There were three guys that were there that took over serving and refilling our drinks,, making sure we were all taken care of. We never saw the waitress after orders were made. Tips were given to the guys instead of her. I'm going to call in the morning and make a complaint because she pretty much put a sour taste in my mouth for Huck's establishment. The three gentlemen that saved the day.... Thank you so much and we appreciate your time, service and hospitality. I think Daniella needs to be demoted to a bus boy before becoming a waitress/host.Lastly, we were charged twice for our bill as well.
