i've been meaning to try this place, and im glad i did. great service. friendly waitstaff. the burrata was heavenly. i wish they had served it with a spoon because it was really hard to scoop up with a knife. the ratio of cheese to bread was way off, but that might have been due to the serving utensil provided. the honey tasted not mass produced, and the pistachios added the perfect texture. i prefer a softer burrata, so this one was perfect. i think a little flaky salt sprinkled on top would have been a great addition. the caesar had the crispiest lettuce i've had in a while. the croutons were a little light on seasoning. the dressing could have been more brine-y. didn't taste very caesar like. very small serving. did have fresh cracked pepper on the table which i appreciated. the second app we ordered was the chicken piccata meatballs served with Crispy Polenta, Capers, Lemon Butter Sauce. idk if i would have ordered this on my own, but im glad one of my dining mates suggested it. it was a delightful take on a chicken piccata. the meatballs were moist and flavorful. the sauce was so good that i could have and did scoop it up off the plate. there was the perfect amount of capers in the sauce. the polenta added something to the dish as opposed to just being a filler on the plate. would reorder for sure.

We had a wonderful evening at Jackson. The team is friendly and efficient. They seem to enjoy working together and that's always nice to experience. The food was fantastic. It's a favorite spot of ours.

We sat at the bar in Jackson's for pre-dinner drinks prior to meeting relatives for dinner at a different restaurant. I had no expectations. I simply needed a cocktail. It appeared all the bartenders and servers were attractive young women clad in tight black outfits, and I was fearful of service too taken with themselves to care. Was I wrong. They were all charming, professional, and anticipated our needs. My cocktails using booze from a local distillery were strong, served in an adult glass and helped my mood immeasurably. My wife's glass of Chardonnay was an overly healthy pour, and soon we were both smiling ear to ear. Coming from the Midwest, I never expected a bar and grill in Sonoma County, California to be this down to earth and friendly. Patrons engaged us in conversation and I was sad to leave for the other restaurant.

This place Jackson’s bar and oven, is one to try from the small plates to the bigger eats. All delicious No play with disappoint you so if you ever in Sonoma county and if you’re in Santa Rosa, come check out this place it’s amazing the environment. I had tried to come here twice before getting smart enough to make a reservation and WOW it was literally worth a 3-year wait. My coworkers and I who are all pretty picky were beyond impressed with the cocktails, wine and food with the service being the icing on the cake. 10/10 I'd be happy to come here weekly if I could

Polite staff, but there were too many people, it was noisy, and we saw two couples leave because of the noise. The Caesar salad without chicken was surprising, I didn't notice any indication in the menu that it was vegan. It was just lettuce in the dressing and that's it

This place is just overall awesome! Good drinks, good wine, good service, great food....it has it all. We had the steaks, greek pita dish and a delicious dessert and completely enjoyed everything. I even forgot my purse there and had to stop in the morning to grab it on the way to the airport. It was set aside and nothing was missing, thanks to the staff!

My friend and I shared the lamb stuffed flatbread and truffle fries. The lamb was plated perfectly and so very delicious and satisfying as were the fries! I'm glad we shared it as the portions were quite large! Our server was a delight and answered our many questions about the menu without the slightest hint of bother!

This place has always been a favorite of mine. Good drinks, good food, and great service. The pizzas are great, thin crust, not soggy, and great flavors nothing is over powered. One might say they found a good harmony of the flavors. The New York has always been a favorite of mine as well, they just cook a good steak. Should I mention how wonderful their mac & cheese is! It's a great choice no matter what your having as your main course. Nice beer selections as well as nicely balanced cocktails. I've never been disappointed here.
