The service is exceptional. The food .... Not so much. I even asked who ever invented half the dishes if the did alot of mushrooms because if you want to talk about bizarre, then you found your spot. The Oysters were small but very fresh, The Cauliflower was not bad, but not great. The pan garlic bread was good.. The roasted beet salad was beyond strange and the flavors did not pair well together in the bowl. If someone wants to think they are eating healthy then I can see why they would order it, but grapefruit, beets, orange slices and the feta based cream sauce is a bitter combination. I will try the pizza next time though as the table next to me looked great.

My spouse and I ate at Jackson's bar and oven as we were passing through town. The service was top notch, everyone was friendly and attentive! The food was amazing!!! We had a couple of appetizers and shared a woodfire pizza and it was all delicious! I had the mocktail hide and seek I think it was called and it's the best mocktail I've had! 100% would go back again, best meal we've had in a long time!

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service Experience
The 1 star is for customer service. We came in on 2/21/26 around 4pm with a party of 13 and were immediately told by the host that we could not be accommodated together because she “only had one server.” However, while waiting, we clearly saw multiple servers working the floor. That explanation simply did not match what we observed.
Instead of making any real effort to seat us together or offer a reasonable solution, we were forced to split up. Some of our group had to sit at the bar while others were placed at a separate table. It felt completely disorganized and honestly uncomfortable for a group that came to dine together.
We understand that restaurants get busy and staffing can be challenging, but transparency and basic hospitality go a long way. This experience left us feeling dismissed and poorly accommodated.
Very disappointing, especially for what should have been an enjoyable group outing.

Food is always good! The calamari salad is off the charts, the chicken picatta meatballs were great wih the polenta squares in between, and of course all the pizzas are yummy. Lots of great choices at the bar plus local beers! Great service and staff. Overall always a good experience.
Their apps are fantastic. Pizza and the burger also well done. Best of all is the vibe and service.

We had a group of 12 and sat upstairs where they have seating for larger groups. Everything went really smoothly as it is hard to get appetizers, orders, drinks, and dinner up to this area of restaurant....but they did a great job. Everything was timely, food was delicious, and we had a great time in this little, very cool part of Santa Rosa.

I made a reservation for 4pm with the intention of enjoying Happy Hour. When I arrived, I was shown to a table and given menus. After I ordered a drink, I realized the menus were the regular ones, so I asked for Happy Hour menus. It was only then I was told Happy Hour was only served in the bar area, not where I was sitting. By that time I didn't want to move. It would have been nice to know the information about Happy Hour up front.
Atmosphere, service and food are on point. If you have pizza you are missing the good food. Just saying... pizza falls short on flavor. Chicken wings or oysters followed by a chocolate martini is where its at! The shrimp and crispy rice absolutely delicious as well.

We are never disappointed! The food was lovely and delicious. You have to start with the mac&cheese. It is fantastically beautiful. Dinner was yummy. Do not skip dessert. The beignets and sauces (chocolate, raspberry, vanilla) are gorgeously delicious. Can't wait to go back.
We liked the vibe - a place people gather on a regular basis. A wide age spread. Ordered wings. They came with blue cheese and a spicy dipping sauces. The deep fried chicken was plump & juicy For dinner we ordered the house burger it comes with fries. For toppings, each being $2, plenty of choices. The burger (meat)was flavorful and cooked to perfection med-rare The hostess was peasant and seated us immediately. Our server was outstanding, attentive and made the evening a 10‼️ We will be back
We had a party of 6 (out of town guests) and were seated upstairs. Food was great as usual. Service was not up to the usual standards we normally experience. We enjoy spending time at Jacksons, but this night was just off. Maybe being upstairs? Maybe the large table? Maybe short on staff? Disappointing, but we will still return.
