This is an interesting, old school “red sauce” style Italian joint in downtown Santa Rosa that’s worth stopping in to visit! We came in on a very busy weeknight for dinner. Our server was helpful and informative. The menu was filled with the typical, old school “NY” red sauce styled food. The items we chose were really good... sauce included!

Their shrimp scampi entrée was beautiful and tasty! The shrimp was decent in it, though a couple pieces were slightly over-cooked. The potatoes were tasty and not dry. Their Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was really good and filling, though not spicy at all.

Save room for dessert, they have a nice frozen Limoncello that’s pretty tasty! I’d come back for dinner again!

This was, hands down, the best and most authentic Italian we have ever had! If it was local to me I would be a regular there. My only regret is that we are only traveling through and I couldn’t sample the entire menu. It’s a small location but the atmosphere is on point and it is very busy because the food is fantastic! I was so full but I couldn’t leave without trying their crème brûlée and their cannolis. OMGOODNESS it was so worth being beyond full when we left. I will make a point to go there every time I am traveling through.

We have eaten at Lococo’s twice now. The first time was amazing. Our waiter did an excellent job on tending to our table and requests. By the end of the night and an excellent meal, we knew his name and shared some life experiences in Italy. Cool.

The second time was last night. It was our wedding anniversary. We got seated at a two person table upstairs next to the stairs. Our waiter was unimpressive and in a hurry…his comment was he had other tables to attend to. Wow. Our appetizer came and while enjoying it, our salads showed up. Feeling rushed, we asked to hold them back as there was no room in the table. This was done. Our bread dish was served cold. It was details like these that made our dinner experience too rushed for a relaxed night out.

We experienced this at one of our other favorite places to eat in Santa Rosa. Great at first…and then trying to push people in and get them to move on to serve the next customer. Not the way to promote loyal customers.

No complaints on the food though. Excellent dishes and healthy servings. We passed on the desserts due to the rushed atmosphere.

Tried the spicy vodka pasta and bruschetta. Limited veg options

The only thing better than the super warm welcome and excellent service was the amazing food! One of our party is a professional chef and he couldn’t believe the quality of the food and the perfect way it had been cooked. We will definitely be back!

Ravioli was crispy because it was overcooked and bland. I was told the seafood pasta dish had clams, salmon, Seabass, and shrimp. It came out and it was essentially half brown fish (I do not think it was ) and half salmon with three little neck clams. Absolutely no shrimp was in the dish. When I called the waitress back, she said it’s whatever fresh for the day is what’s in the seafood pasta, to which I replied you told me there were shrimp in the dish and there isn’t. After a little bit of an attitude, she added shrimp, which I appreciate, but I still wasn’t OK with her trying to tell me she never told me there were shrimp in it to begin with. Won’t be returning. I’ve eaten here about three times in the last year and I just keep feeling like it gets worse and worse. Obviously, others may not agree with me because the parking lot was full, but that might just be a convenient issue in my opinion. .the seafood pasta dish supposedly had four different kinds of seafood in it, including shrimp, it had absolutely no shrimp in it and I doSeabass was Seabass. It was basically half Seabass and half salmon. Yuck! I used to semi frequent this place for lunch, and as far as I’m concerned the last couple times I’ve been there it’s gone downhill. Still, people must like it because the parking lot was full. My experience was not good.

Yet again an amazing meal. The staff are all so nice and welcoming. The food is so good you have to keep coming back. Priced fairly for the quality your about to stuff yourself with. Veal Parm you can't go wrong. My only diss is it can get loud when full, so if it's a problem for you now you know before hand. See again soon.

This was my second experience at this restaurant, my love for it keeps getting better. The food is some of the best I’ve tasted in this area and the atmosphere makes you feel at home. Something about this place makes you feel special when you’re sitting at a table. Victoria is a gem of a server and I was lucky enough to get her both times. She is on point and adds to the comforting feeling for this restaurant. I’ll be back and I hope the other servers can compare to her attitude and friendly manner. Top 5 restaurants in Santa Rosa in my opinion.
