My go to when I want great fresh bread. Love it when I get home and it's still warm in the middle!

Five stars for the best sourdough loaf. There are a lot of great breads out there today, and many delicious artisan bakeries have done well with fermented breads, however Franco American mastered the perfect sourdough about a century ago and they are my go to and top recommendation for the best sourdough loaf. I love seeing their bread on the shelves of Bay Area grocery stores and try to stop by their bakery when ever I'm in Sonoma county.

Best $3.5 I've paid for fresh baked sourdough bread. Would most likely stop here again to pick some up. 10000x better than San Fran sourdough. It was not rock hard the next day like most loafs. It lasted about 3 days fresh but we ate through it by then so can't say if it would have lasted longer.

This neighborhood wholesale bakery is open to the public, just closed Wednesday and Sunday. Plenty of street parking. Bay areas oldest bakery. They offer a variety of delicious, affordable bread plus 1/2 off day old bread and rolls. Love their extra sourdough. So much better and less expensive than supermarket breads

This is another Santa Rosa institution that has faithfully served the community for a century. All wrinkles have been ironed out, most problems have been dealt with. The result: an incredibly desirable business which, in this instance, offers wonderful products, namely bread as delicious as one would wish for. Baked daily, the prices are also very affordable. Please take time to visit. You will let yourself step into the past where food was then such a true comfort.

Oh my! The best! Sourdough is unbelievable. Aren't we lucky to have this bakery in Sonoma County?

God bless Franco-American Bakery, I was in town from Los Angeles, if I lived any closer to the bay it would be dangerous

The sour dough reminds me of when I was a child. We live in Seattle now, every time we are in the area we get some bread it's best with salami. Just like when we were kids. SO GOOD!!

The blonde chick that works there is so rude. Don't expect any customer service (let alone GOOD customer service). Will not be back if I see her through the window.

They have been the supplier of bread and rolls for Smart pizza restaurant in Guerneville for many years now. Great product, very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Always accommodating with delivery. It’s a pleasure to have fresh bread for my restaurant!

The smell of this bakery is intoxicating! And their classic Italian bread and roll varieties are spot on.
