Very tasty food and most importantly affordable! Just dont like the computer kiosks.
TLDR: Good food, fair price, removed from humanity. The food was delicious but the atmosphere was very sci-fi dystopian. The order can only be placed over tablet or over the phone. In the back, there are conveyor belt robots dumping food into the bowls. The actual human workers up front are just doing the last bits of the assembly. The workers in there seemed miserable. Based on the reviews, Sweetgreen offers good food with fresh, clean ingredients, generous portions, and delicious flavors. The food is tasty and healthy, with specific meals like the Nutrient Power Plate, Chicken Pesto Parm, and portabella mix being highly recommended. The quality is considered good for the price, though some find it overpriced.
The ordering process is a major point of discussion. Orders can only be placed over a tablet or phone, with an automated system. Some customers have had incorrect orders online. There is a strong preference from some to order with a human, but they have felt treated like a nuisance for doing so. The atmosphere is described as very sci-fi dystopian, with conveyor belt robots dumping food into bowls in the back, while human workers up front seem miserable. Service can be fast, but some staff are friendly and helpful, like Erica and María Alejandra.
Overall, it is a place customers would return to and recommend for the food, despite the unusual, robotic atmosphere and inconsistent service.
