Last week was our first time we came to that restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had great time with the courteous service, with the superb food and fine drinks and with the comfortable pay. We will no doubt go back there soon.

This is an expensive grocery store. They do have a few tables and chairs where you can sit and eat the prepared foods. But it is expensive.

I thought I was in the minority when making this statement to one of the employees recently. However, he confirmed that I am not alone in remarking that this Whole Foods location as well as all the others is changing so much since Amazon took over the Whole Foods chain, is in decline and he hears many complaints. As for me and I am sure others, most of the foods we buy at markets are generally the same, be it packaged goods or fresh produce. We buy those brands that we enjoy and fit our lifestyle and eating habits. Since Amazon, most of the brands I have bought have disappeared which is forcing me to go elsewhere. This particular Yulupa Whole Foods store, was always the best of the chain in my area. The employees are always friendly, even now. However, the store management has allowed the store to get sloppy. My experience this week was that the cash register pricing on one item I continually buy did not match the posted price on the shelves. I had to point this out to the cashier who quickly gave me the lower posted price. Another item I bought I found at another Safe Way market at approximately half the price and I quickly returned the whole foods item to the store. I am tired of seeing the big empty spaces on the shelves and the last chance sale items that are obviously being phased out. And the cashiers continually asking if I am an Amazon Prime member upon checking out is annoying to the point of adding another reason on my list of negative things too drive to shop elsewhere. I basically go to whole foods now to buy produce, but even recently the loose root vegetable section that carried potatoes and onions has been relocated and greatly reduced in size to what appears to be concentrating on fewer loose items and more prepackaged items. Too bad, as I am slowly buying more and more from the other large smaller Local family owned food store chain markets. Whole Foods is losing more and more a great portion of my average $800. a month food purchase that is now being spent elsewhere.
