This shop is adorable! One of the best conchas I have had, and all the cakes look delicious too! Definitely recommend checking this spot out and supporting cool local spots.

I had ordered a cake ahead of time and was not disappointed. We had the cuatro leches cake with strawberries it was absolutely divine! Moist, rich, and bursting with flavor. We were warmly welcomed by Abby, who was kind and helpful from the moment we walked in. We ended up buying a good assortment of their pastry selection. Fantastic service and incredible desserts, we’ll definitely be back.

I stopped by this Mexican bakery and café around 5:30 PM—they close at 6—and was hoping to grab a sweet treat and a cafecito. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that the coffee bar was already closed, even though the shop was still open. It would’ve been nice to enjoy a warm drink with my pastry, so that was a bit of a letdown.
On the bright side, parking is easy and convenient—there’s a pebble lot right next to the building, as well as ample street parking. The atmosphere inside is lovely, with music playing and amazing smells wafting from the bakery area. It’s definitely a cozy spot, and I noticed they offer free WiFi, which would make it a nice place to do some computer work or unwind with a pastry earlier in the day.
I ended up picking out an éclair ($7.50). The price felt a little steep, but I have to say the quality was impressive. The chocolate ganache on top was silky smooth, rich, and not grainy—a clear sign it was made well. The crème pâtissière filling had a pleasant vanilla flavor, and the texture was spot-on: stable, smooth, and not separated.
The choux pastry itself had a nice texture on top, though the bottom was a bit soggy, which may be understandable given the time of day. Traditionally, éclairs are filled by piping crème through holes, but I’ve noticed more bakeries—like this one—are now splitting them open to allow for more generous fillings, which I didn’t mind at all.
Overall, despite the coffee bar being closed, this bakery is charming and clearly focused on quality. I’d definitely return—just earlier in the day—to enjoy the full experience with coffee and maybe try a few more pastries.

first time in. ordered a chai latte. not sure if the default is iced, but it did come iced which is fine. but not sure why there was sweetener added? mouthful of artificial flavor. i approached the staff and asked if they had added sugar or sweetener. response was ~sugar free vanilla syrup~ it was super sweet and didn't taste like chai..

A hidden gem! Everything is made fresh daily…I have never tried something that I didn’t like here. Everyone I introduce to this place absolutely loves it! We literally love everything on the menu , but some of our favorites would have to be: -The breakfast burrito. It’s great size, and packed with flavor, -Any of the tres leches cakes, the Horchata Latte (hot or cold), and lastly, pan dulce.
Vegetarian options: I keep pushing for them to offer the breakfast burrito in a vegetarian version but as of now they do not have that. There are plenty of baked goods, breakfast danishes and desserts that are vegetarian though.

I googled for Portuguese bakery and Tia Maria was the recommendation! Unfortunately this is not Portuguese bakery but a Mexican bakery. They also have nice cakes and sandwiches.
I went into the store and ordered and grabbed my food and ordered mashed potatoes, one for my daughters and another for me, and when I got home I didn't have the mashed potatoes and I called their store and they were busy or they didn't answer me.
