I used to come here all the time, loved the food and especially the burritos. I stopped coming because they raised their prices twice in a month! Not only that but they also used to make your burrito in front of you like chipotle, they don’t do that anymore; which was the main appeal. The last time I went they didn’t update their menu to reflect their new prices, nor did they mention the price change which felt dishonest. Especially after being a loyal customer and recommending the place to multiple people. Great food, I just can’t support their business practices especially when there are so many Mexican restaurants in SR.

Delicious food right across the street from school. Cabeza tacos can't be beat.
my issue with this place is that it's too good. The salsa bar is too good and generous. It includes cheese. And chips. It is all all you can eat. I fear people will take advantage of this. I wouldn't want the place to go out of business for this reason. I want this place to stay. The habanero (orange) salsa is delicious. The pico de gallo and the avocado salsa are delicious. The tomatillo salsa is delicious. The marinated jalapeños, onions and carrots are delicious. And yes, of course the food is delicious too. This place rules.

Let me just start off by saying the customer service is FANTASTIC. As a first timer at a new restaurant, I get so nervous about not knowing what I want. Our cashier went to the extent of reading the small print on the menu for us (we both didnt bring our glasses ?). The atmosphere was so positive and welcoming. Super friendly staff!
We ordered a super burrito de carnitas ?, a regular burrito de camaron ?, a kids plate of rice and beans with chicken ?, a beer, and an agua de jamaica for under $50. There was a self serve salsa station which I LOVED. As well as a self serve tortilla chip station with colorful chips! There’s nothing I hate more than finding crushed chips and half full salsa cups when I get home! 10/10 coming back!

I bought two Outside Tacos al pastor The meat was awful. It was sweet and no flavor. I think they had so much coloring. I still have heartburn. I never had this experience in Santa Rosa worse on tacos

We visited on a Thursday for lunch prior to the reopening of the Junior College. We chose this day specifically to avoid what we assumed would be crowds and a lack of parking.
We were greeted by friendly employees and an empty dining room at ten minutes before noon. By the time we ordered and received our meal, the parking lot was full and there was a line.
I appreciated the ability to add from a variety of beans, vegetables and other items. I also appreciated the salsa bar with pickled vegetables and self-serve chips.
As we left, we were offered bags for our leftovers. It was a truly pleasant experience.
