I'm not sure if three stars is incredibly generous or incredibly harsh (based on other reviews, I'd assume the latter), but overall I'd say Tudor Rose seems to be wonderful for the right group of people, and that group of people doesn't include me.I went with a friend, and together we got three separate meals; she wanted some for the next day, and there was a good amount of food left over. None of the sandwiches tasted particularly good to me, with or without the tea. The pot pie, and the cheese and onion pie, were average, at best. The macarons and English bread pudding were alright, but the tea, to me, was surprisingly decent. I usually dislike western teas, but this tea was inoffensive to me.The scone was delicious and went well with the tea, so that's one star for me. Our server, Savannah [sp], was delightful and friendly, so the other two stars are just for her. I won't be returning just for her, but if the menu changes, and a dessert meal is added (say a couple of scones and some other desserts with some tea), I will certainly return. With the current menu, I don't see myself coming back. The location is nice. Prices are a bit high, but it's a local restaurant open only a few days a week, so I get it. I don't want to be rude about it, but I guess you could say this place just wasn't my cup of tea.Edit to add: The presentation was nice. We had a small table in the corner (which I actually liked a lot), and the food was put together really cute. It was lovely, and seems like a nice place for a tea party for people who like that kind of thing. Again, it just wasn't the place for me.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter's bridal shower. Everyone had a wonderful time. Food was good and staff was very nice and attentive. I would recommend Tudor Rose to anyone thinking of having a wonderful celebration.

I have celebrated many occasions at this tea house over the years. The owner is British an very welcoming, friendly and funny I might add. Even after covid her prices are not much more than they were. The foods is great the tea choices are awesome. It's a very fun experience for locals and to entertain out of town guests. I highly recommend this place. I've included a picture of the meal I ordered. They also have special theme tea parties once a month, call them for details. Best to make reservations if possible. Enjoy!!!Vegetarian options: I believe they have vegan sandwiches on requestKid-friendliness: A lot of people have there kids birthday parties here, I've seen 5 year olds having tea parties. They supply old fashion hats while having your tea for all ages.Parking: Front of building street meter parking, meter lot behind building and city structure across the street from that lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Saw someone just the other day with a wheelchair enjoying themselves at one of the tables. They are very accommodating.

An absolute gem! I've been here for lunch and for two of their dinner events. Everything is delicious and the owner and chefs go above and beyond for their guests. I am gluten free and everything I have had is top notch! I recommend for the food and the environment and of course the amazing tea selections! I will be back again soon!

I was nervous about bringing my twin 3 year old girls here. Due to covid they haven't been out much. The staff were very kind and attentive to helping me with the girls. The tea is amazing, the food is delicious and in the end no one wanted to leave.

Wonderful tea room with lots of character and fun decorations. The servers and hosts are gracious and pleasant. The food was delicious and the tea was delightful. The scones were probably the best we've ever had! This is a great place!

We ordered the Henry VIII (steak & Guinness pie) and Florence Nightingale (high tea with scone, bread pudding, savory tea sandwiches, and mushroom and onion tart). The steak pie was delicious - tender, juicy pieces of steak in a flaky, buttery crust. The bread pudding from the Florence Nightingale set was the star - rich and chocolate-ly. The scone and tea sandwiches were also delicious. The only disappointment was the tart, which was rather bland.I do also wish the tea we ordered was stronger - the flavor was a bit diluted.Overall loved the experience and would definitely come back!

Stumbled on this adorable afternoon tea spot for lunch on our weekend visit to Santa Rosa. The owner and waitresses are so kind and helpful, the decor is elegant and quirky, and the ambience is fun but elevated. I love coming here. The staff and owner are really friendly and the atmosphere is so much fun. The decor is great and they have unique hats to wear while you are having tea. The food is always good, but I definitely recommend the sausage rolls and the cheese and onion tarts. My favorite tea is the Raspberry Vanilla, and I wish I could find that exact tea in the stores. I've also attended several of the special events here, and they have all been enjoyable and worthwhile. Best ones that I have trued are the Harry Potter dinner and the Murder Mystery dinner. I really want to try the Mary Poppins tea as other customers have raved to me about it. Every time I go to the tea room it is a great experience. Definitely worth visiting.

The Tudor Rose English Tea Room is exceptional. I have been a loyal patron and performing artist (etiquette teas/themed events, live music) at the tea room since 2017. The owner Angela Grant, and her outstanding team, go above and beyond to provide high quality service to their patrons, make terrific tea and cuisine, and host magical events. I have never seen a business that is so dedicated to their customers and I am immensely grateful for the friendships/relationships that I have made with Angela, her staff, and the patrons who visit the tea room. I highly recommend visiting the Tudor Rose!

I was there for a bridal tea party...The owner was very unprofessional. My aunt was allergic to the sun flower seeds in the bread. And she has to take Benadryl. We notified the owner she proceeded to handle the situation by calling us all trash and kicking us out before we even got to gifts. The woman was so rude this was unexpected u exceptpable. I was told there closing the business anyhow good thing. Because there service is horrible.

I took my granddaughter here for her first tea room experience! We enjoyed it so much! The eclectic collection of teapots and cups, the traditional look to the tearoom, the wonderful tea and delicious treats, all were a wonderful way to celebrate beginning of summer! The baked goods were especially fresh and yummy!

I was running 15 min late for my reservation, so I called to advise, and with this cute English accent, "OK love, we will see you soon then!" And upon arriving, the place was busy.. So I really appreciate her holding our table that the venue clearly could of utilized. The owner knew right away it was me who called and walked my party to the table. The decor had faux stone walls like the English countryside, plus cute hats, boas, and maybe a fascinator or two hanging on the walls. It's a great place to hang out with your girlfriends, eating away at scones (which were just heavenly-and I'm not a scone person), meat pie, and tea party sandwiches. Of course... The tea itself was self explanatory, and our server was very sweet at explaining everything; she came by often to apologize for the wait time, but we were just a bunch of women out to chat and enjoy the company without kids interrupting every moment. At the end of our tea time, we could see a lot of ruckass in their event room, and come to find out later that the party in there were refusing to pay! The owner came out to apologized afterward for us to see that, and I cannot account for what exactly happened in the event room, but throughout the lunch there was a lot of staff in-and-out of the room, so they were attended to often and regularly. From a hospitality standpoint, a small percentage of folks post-pandemic can engage in self-centering acts with no regard for how hard the service industry is truly being extended. I wish the people in the event room nothing but the best with their celebrations, but the people serving them do not ever deserve bad behavior; be an adult and pay for what you had agreed to because you have options and resources to dispute afterwards if you really were dissatisfied. Anyhow, our party had a great time irregardless of the happenings surrounding us, and I would love to go there again soon to share tea time with friends; Tudor Tea Room recommended.

We went here today and had an amazing experience. The host\server was friendly and attentive. The caramel tea was superb, we ended up buying some bags of it. And the food was outstanding. We'll be back with our son soon!
