Food was great we went for a birthday party, but the problem was the waitresses and different staff came up to the Birthday person and other guests after we have been seated for a while and even though we had food and drinks in front of us told us that if a certain number of seats weren’t filled, they had to move to a different spot at the table and it was very awkward and we thought inappropriate. And then after we finished dinner, we were being very polite and trying to let people past us while we were talking being observant of the room and someone walked up and said you’re gonna have to go outside. It was just like we are being rushed out of there along with the service before it put a bad taste in my mouth

Too bad this place has referred to sell reheated food. I have been there more than 20 times, but the last 3 times I have been served food that is hot on the outside, but cold in the inside in other words. Reheated food.

Qsr time for lunch there, has bar, TV screen, room for lunch meetings separated. Outdoor patio. Nice place tucked away, parking is ok, but overall food was good..seems dated in decor it is not a modern place .

Our dinner here was a relaxed, enjoyable, tasteful event. I had the polenta with beef stew and hubby had the Sonoma pasta. The breadsticks were warm and fluffy inside. We also shared the starter of roasted garlic and brie beside our pineapple mule and martini. Hit the spot. The ambience was so inviting with the fireplace and lighting. Thank you for the experience.
Very friendly and responsive service. Arrived late due to traffic, but they were very accommodating.

Just ate a take out of the ravioli. Kind of expensive. The ravioli were overcooked and way too much overly spiced. The only thing I could taste was cloves and cardamom.

It was Easter so I appreciate people working. But food was not good, service was poor. Just not a good experience. We won't go back. Staff were nice but didn't bring ordered drink, had to go get extra place seating from another table. Main dishes brought while still eating starter salad and soup. Ribs were terrible. Just terrible and definitely terrible for very high price. Sigh. I regret not asking for manger to give feedback.
Great great place! Go there a lot for lunch;but, also use it for Holiday Family Dinners! Staff is terrific and love food!

First of all we were seated 30 mins later than our reservation time. Then our server was quick with us and didn't wait for us to finish ordering before leaving the table. We then had to wait 15-20 mins to order drinks. Then when the food arrived we got the wrong food we got salmon cakes instead of the wild salmon so we had to wait another 20-30 mins for the right food. The food didn't taste very good. This was sad as we had been the previous year and had a way better experience.

Everything was going well, food, service etc. Then when we ordered dessert, we waited over 40 minutes so we finally just left. The front of the house was kind enough to try and make it right so that was a good thing. It's always a crap shoot to go out on Valentine's Day, but for the most part, the meal was very good and our waitress was excellent. We will definitely give it another try on not so busy of a night.

The special was prime rib the night we were there. When I ordered the prime rib “medium” our server said we don't get a choice. So I said I'd like it near the end cut. Well I got the actual end cut which was a very large block of inedible meat. Served with ranch dressing rather than horseradish. The server had a very large party in the back so I'm going to give her a pass for her lack of attention but I couldn't believe someone in the kitchen actually thought that block of meat should leave the kitchen. We have eaten at Union Hotel many times and had wonderful meals but I will stick with my usual and order the braised short ribs. They're fantastic!
