2nd visit here..... because takeout first time was handled quickly, professionally and fun! The ENTIRE STAFF especially bartender are truly fun and helpful! Fish and chips are so delightful! They were busy and handling all the guests quickly and efficiently. We'll be back often!!!
Great fish and chips
Just ok at best. I had the halibut fish n chips. And raw oysters. They were off. I ate 2 and left the rest. Disappointed.
Food was surprisingly great. Their sangria is amazing. Highly recommend.

I LOVE their Crab and Shrimp Louie. A Crab and Shrimp Louie is almost impossible to find. I am so glad that now I have finally found one (there used to be a restaurant in San Jose called 17 West that made it) it is absolutely delicious! Everything is so fresh and lovely. I get mine "to go", and both times when they brought it out to me, they "presented" it as though for approval - heaps of beautiful shrimp and crab on top, with sliced egg, tomato, avocado, cucumber, and radish and delicious Louie dressing on the side. It is like they take pride in the beautiful presentation, which they well should. It is a cute little place but I have not eaten there. If I didn't love their Louie so much I would try some of their fish and chips which sound wonderful (mmm - oysters and scallops!). In fact, everything sounds delicious. But I will probably never know, because that would mean I would have to pass on their Louie, which I can't.

We've been going here for about a year now and it's always been fantastic. The last two times the food has been below standard. Fries come out cold, pasta dish has absolutely no flavor at all. It's so disappointing because the folks running the restaurant are very nice and friendly. Not sure what's happening in the kitchen.

The clam chowder was among the best I've had in the Bay area. The fish and chips was pretty good and the portions were large. The service was attentive and we received our lunches promptly. I will return.

On our way to Mountain Wine for a show, we had a hankering for fish and chips. Unfortunately. The food fish and chips mixed plate lacked flavor. There was absolutely no seasoning. If there was one grain of salt in the food I could not find it in the fried seafood or on the fries. Also the batter was soggy. Our server was great, but the food was just totally lacking.

My family and I have been here twice, and it has been consistently impressive thus far. The ambiance is cozy, quaint, and welcoming. The service is exceptional, and the food is EXCELLENT. #1 rule to seafood is freshness, and they have NO issues here. The menu is simple, with a surprising variety of options. We had the fish n' chips, which was light, crunchy, and cooked perfectly. The tartar sauce is DEE-LISH. They also have a few variations to customize your dish. My son and I opted to order the bowls this time. Mine was teriyaki glazed salmon over rice and veggies. The flavor was punchy and smoky, and the plating was impressive. My son had the same dish but with prawns. My only feedback is that the vegetables would be better in heartier portions rather than micro cuts. But it was so good, the entire table ended up finishing this dish! We also ordered the fettuccine with prawns, and it did not disappoint either. They offer burgers and a couple of non-seafood options as well, and those are done well, too. Parking both times at 7pm-ish was no problem whatsoever, and they have patio seating as well. The pricing is fair ($87 tab for 3, with drinks) , and they offer a full bar and a happy hour. Match this with their excellent service, and it's a no-brainer. We'll be back!
Kid-friendliness: They offer a full kids menu
