I don't think you should pay more than 10 dollars for a burger. It makes any issues that you have with the food seem even worse, and here, you're going to be paying up to $25 for a burger--so you better hope it's worth it. If you're only coming here because you're craving a burger, it's hard to recommend this place. The patties are usually so big that they dry out quickly, and the fries they give on the side aren't great. Buyers' remorse is what comes to mind coming here: fast food burgers will hit the spot much better. They do have a varied menu with lots of different things to try, but I don't think they particularly excel at them, and they aren't really things you'd be looking for if you're going to a burger place. If you're looking for a nice social outing with friends and family, this place is probably more than fine. There's definitely something for everyone on the menu. For your money, though, there are better burgers elsewhere.

I went by to pick up some Burgers for our guys working on the house. The burgers tasted great and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly. Milk shake is not bad but can use some refining. Over all i have a great experience.

When a place has the word burger in their name and charges $18 for a basic burger you would at least expect a better than average burger. Right?? Well, I'll get to that in a minute. I went here early on a Saturday evening with my husband and a friend. The place was virtually empty so the young and quite unhappy (dare I say scowling) waitress told us to sit wherever we wanted. She brought us water in glasses so small they were empty in two sips (we commandeered larger plastic cups from the soda dispenser). The waitress came back and took our drink and appetizer (fried artichokes) order. Both came out promptly. Unfortunately the fried artichoke's had a heavy flavorless breading and the interior was incredibly bland, mushy and barely recognizable as being artichoke. Usually a good dipping sauce can at least address the flavorless problem, but the sauce was also lacking flavor and under seasoned. Moving on to the burgers...my husband and friend ordered two classic cheese burger (medium rare) and I ordered the French Moo medium (wagyu beef patty, caramelized onions, soft ripened brie, pancetta, baby arugula and garlic aioli). All of the burgers came out closer to rare, but what I noticed even before that was that two of our plates had a paltry amount of fries...so few it seemed as though half had already been eaten. I flagged down our still scowling waitress and asked for more...she was not pleased but quickly brought out a bowl hot fries. My companions thought their burgers were okay even if a bit under the temperature they had ordered. No major complaints but nothing to write home about. My first bite of the French Moo delivered a nice meaty charr flavor but then...nothing! Everything that was supposed to be on it was there but the flavors had left the room. The onions (of which there were a bit too many piled on) were indistinguishable from the Brie, the pancetta texture was there but non of the salty goodness, the peppery arugula evaporated into the mix and the garlic aioli was akin to thick milk. Overall, a major disappointment for my tastebuds. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the bowl of fries. They came out piping hot, crispy and well seasoned. For the price...a very unspectacular burger experience at a place dedicated (by name) to the burger.

My husband and I love this place. I have food sensitivities ( gluten-free and dairy free) and there are many options for me. The gluten-free buns are delicious they're not dry and the food is always fresh and full of flavor. We also like the chill vibe.

Small restaurant in downtown Saratoga. My husband had the burger without the cheese. He loved the quality of the meat. I had the salmon tacos. The tacos were very small I was able to eat 3 in no time. We sat inside but it was so noisy we went out in the patio near the street. Still very noisy. The only reason I won't return is the noise level.

Burgers are pretty darn good! Good flavor, good meat but a little expensive. Fries also rock!!! I was not too hungry when I came and also feeling pretty cheap, so i just got a kids' burger, but that shit was GOOOD!!! I'm definitely coming back hungry but not often cuz I ain't rich. Three stars for price but mostly cuz there was a moment in my dining experience when 4 out of 5 employees were on their stupid phones!?! That drives me crazy!

We were walking downtown and wanted to have some appetizers since we hadn't eaten, so we decided to try out Big Basin Burger Bar. The staff was very nice and friendly. We ordered the artichoke appetizer and parmesan truffle fries. Both were good, especially the fries. They also have a good selection of beer. The restaurant was clean and had a good amount of seating.

My boyfriend took me out for lunch to the big basin burger bar and I got the burger bowl, he had a burger and fries and a shake. The burger bowl came with quinoa and corn as well as spirilized carrots and cabbage. Underneath was arugula. On the side was a vinaigrette and there were also some roast peppers and I cut one up and mixed it in my salad. I liked they had the healthy option of the burger bowl. Service was good, friendly. Ambiance was nice, we sat out in front. I would be interested to see what other bowl options they might have. I heard they are going to have some brunch stuff soon though.

We brought the kids and my in-laws to eat lunch after walking around Sanborn Park and they delivered in spades. We ordered the kids burgers right away while we looked over the menu for ourselves and got a few beers. The server even put on Cars 3 for the kids to watch while we ate so we actually got to enjoy our meals. We will be coming back, for sure!

Good food and service. It was uncomfortable chilly inside because of the draft caused by open doors on both sides of the building and working ceiling fans. Chairs could be higher that makes it uncomfortable for non-tall people.

To the acting manager's credit, he refunded me the money for my burnt burger when I returned to the restaurant, explained what happened and showed him the receipt. He said I should not have been charged after my first burger was burnt.
