If you like matcha latte, you ought to try this place. Their matcha latte reminds me of the super strong matcha ice cream I had at a well known tea house at Kyoto. I can tell they use premium quality of matcha powder to make their drinks. I usually order matcha latte with extra shot, 50% sweetness.

Hidden gem near Westgate mall. Tried the Earl Grey Matcha Latte with 75% sweetness and it tasted perfectly balanced—light and fresh, matcha didn’t overwhelm the drink. Atmosphere is nice and clean, just a little small. Can’t wait to try more flavors!

the matcha einspanner itself is very good but a few things they can improve

Ordering on only a kiosk is very slow. People take a long time looking at everything and there are a lot of customizations to go through

When I selected the matcha einspanner, 75% sweet was already selected. Is that the recommended sweetness level? They should say what is recommended. Usually 100% is regular sweet. I wanted to ask but there wasn’t anyone to ask.

The einspanner is a super small amount

The sugar in my drink was not mixed at all, it was all sitting on the bottom

I would definitely get it again but I will try the milpitas location next time.

Their coffee and matcha Einspänner’s are good.

I stop by at Cere every few weeks for their sunny side up matcha einspanner.

I’m not a matcha purist, which is why I gravitate to this menu item the most — it’s creamy and sweet (when you hit the mango chunks) which really cuts the earthy bitterness of the green leaf. Plus, the “sunny side up” presentation is just delightful.

Really great matcha flavor and enjoyed the creaminess that the einspanner added to the drink. It wasn’t too sweet and the matcha truly shined! Easily one of the best matchas I’ve had in South Bay. Ordering is completed on the tablet/kiosk and drinks were made with care. Small seating area inside - the lobby can get crowded quite quickly.

I visited Cere Tea on a Saturday around 3 pm and there was a line. It took 20 minutes for us to order and receive our drinks. I got a black sesame einspanner at 25% sweetness and really enjoyed it. The coffee flavor was there but not overpowering or bitter. You can definitely taste the black sesame which loved! I'd definitely come back here just for that drink, but will likely order online next time to avoid the wait.

The matcha latte here is truly outstanding—easily one of the best I’ve had in the Bay Area. It has a rich, creamy texture with a bold grassy flavor, balanced by a light bitterness and subtle nuttiness that speaks to the quality of the matcha they use. They’re generous with the portion and matcha content, making it an excellent value for the price. The interior is sleek, minimal, and very clean, though the space is a bit small. The employees are extremely friendly, and service is consistently fast and smooth, which really elevates the whole experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Really impressive. The little cream dollop was beautiful. Oat + 50% sugar was perfect. We also agreed that it tastes like izumi if izumi used a more neutral sweetener

Flavors are great but not exceptional. Five stars for how unique and aesthetic the drinks are!

Hojicha latte is very powdery/chalky and tastes too woody to be enjoyable. Plus, lots of clotted oatmilk bits floating around in my drink that I had to spit out. A good hojicha latte should be smooth, aromatic, and chocolatey. Usually a powdery hojicha latte is because of the quality of tea being used, as hojicha isn’t meant to be ground into fine bits. It happens. But that also means I can make a better one at home, as I paid $7.50 for one here. Still on the quest to find the perfect hojicha latte in the Bay.

Can I buy the banana pudding by itself? I'm begging because it's so good. If it were the matcha by itself, I would say it's okay because it's pretty on par with higher grade matcha boba shops in the Bay. I can appreciate that it isn't powdery. I ordered 50% sweet and the matcha was a bit bitter but I think I was meant to mix in the banana pudding. But I wanted to eat the pudding by itself so bad. The cream top on the Hojicha Eispanner was also reaaally good.

The drinks here are REALLY good. I got a matcha einspänner and it was really creamy, slightly sweet and the whipped cream on top just added a nice touch.

We also got a strawberry fruit tornado and the Oreo crème brûlée milk tea. Both very yummy and not too sweet!

The staff is super nice and the place is clean. Seating is limited but it helps keep a cozy vibe, honestly I am coming back and recommend that you try it too!

Got recommended this place from a close friend! This place had limited indoor seating, but also had a kiosk where you can order quickly. The banana pudding matcha and earl grey matcha were the only drinks I’ve had so far, and I would absolutely get both again!
