Alexa makes our visits so great every time we come! She explains the wines in great detail and always has a smile on her face, no matter how busy she is. The view and the wines are amazing too!

This is a fantastic site to drink wines with friends. The views from their lower tasting area is lovely looking towards the Santa Cruz mountains over a lovely valley. House produces great whites and they have a nice charcuterie plate at this location. While they sort out their higher level north facing site, it's still workers a trip up here.

Lovely views and the wine and service was great. We had a question about one of the wines and the winemaker happened to be nearby so the server sent him over to answer our questions. Great listening to him and he definitely has a passion for what he does. We will definitely return!

Stunning views at this winery. Wines were good. Loved the charcuterie plate! Would recommend.

It is a small, beautiful place close to downtown Saratoga. Unfortunately, the tasting room was not available and we were outside with umbrellas. The view was nice and green. Wine selection for tasting was nice and they had some interesting wine but it was a bit too hot to be outside, and a cheese plate was sold out. Service was good.

My group of 3 wanted to do a casual and local wine tasting in South Bay and came across this spot. We made a reservation for Saturday afternoon and had no wait to get settled but learned that the seating was first come first serve for parties in the same reservation batch. There was ample parking but most of the spots were up a hill past the main seating area, so coming down was a breeze but it was a (very) mini hike back up haha. Once you check in at the "front", we were able to order what we wanted. We each got their flight and a charcuterie board to share. The flight was nicely priced ($20 for 5 wines) but the charcuterie board was underwhelming in our opinion. The presentation was just in a plastic to go box, which didn't seem to match the vibe and aesthetic of the place. Nonetheless, the variety of cheeses and meats were decent, and you get a baguette with it as well. Overall the experience was pleasant and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The view was also stunning - just wish we got to sit at a table that faced the view directly. I'd recommend this place and would come back, just wouldn't get their board again.

We had a tasting for 4. The setting was nice, however our server was very short on wine descriptions, no extra info or wine or winery history, etc. I'm reluctant to post bad reviews, but this is an exception. the pours were almost unbelievably small. No offer to bring water to our table, ( even half way through our flight of wines) although other tables had waters poured for them. The wines were nice, service very disappointing.See the photo to see a very small pour.

Great winery overall. Beautiful view, shaded outdoor seating, charcuterie and cheese offered, great wines. Nothing bad to say aside from having to use porta potties. Depending on the weather, it can get hot since it is outdoor seating only. Flight of 5 wines for $20, 2 whites and 3 reds. Decent sized pours. Everyone thought that all 5 were good, which is rare. They don't waive tasting fees unless you become a member which is a 3 bottle purchase. Service was good. Reservations only. Parking along the side of the road

Not same as before after reopening. The tasting room is moved to the old parking near entrance with negligible view. Not worth it anymore. Estate Chardonay still good however it’s still highly understaffed and service with attitude.

Gorgeous vineyard with breathtaking views. What happened?? I'd love to know when house family vineyards will open again.

Beautiful view and good wine, but I was disappointed to learn that a local political lobbying group is trying to shut down the winery because they think "commercial businesses such as wineries" shouldn't operate there. Lame! Thus, they are temporarily closed as of 2/11/2023. Hopefully these NIMBY assholes will let up soon, and the hugely supportive community of patrons can once again return.

We visited House Family Vineyards on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The grounds are beautiful and the view of Saratoga is amazing. It's so peaceful, to sit out in the sun and watch the hawks fly around high above the hills. We did a flight and we're very pleased with all of the wines, their rosé was really refreshing and their Cab was one of the lightest but still deep cabs I've tasted. My husband is new to wine and really prefers lighter wines and I can usually only get him to enjoy Pinots when it comes to red, but he enjoyed the cab here. We left with six bottles and full intentions on coming back the next time we are in the area.

Shady business that keeps getting shutdown by Saratoga. Over priced, OK wine, that only is worth drinking for the view. In March my BF made an appointment for our anniversary after COVID ended. We could not get in for 3 weeks and took the first spot. When we arrived to find out the place had been closed down because it was dangerous. The sign out front said they were working with Saratoga on some stuff. But NextDoor said they were shutdown and had been told not to be open at all for the last couple of months by the fire department. My friend yesterday tried to go and found out they had moved from the beautiful wine drinking area on the hill to a new place with umbrellas but had been shutdown again by Saratoga. The people that run the place are crooks. What is up with them?

OMG the views from their hillside tasting area with cozy spots overlooking the south bay. It's a small location and feels intimate. Bring a date or come with friends to enjoy one of the best kept secrets in town. I just hope they open up again, as they've been closed to the public since spring 2022.
