Our family of 5 went to celebrate my twins birthday. Our server Timmy was very kind and friendly. At the end of dinner he brought over separate desserts for each of my twins mentioning that they probably wouldn't want to share their dessert since they were already sharing their birthday as twins. That was very thoughtful of him! Overall had a great time celebrating . The service and food was good!
I was really looking forward to ordering my favorite dish there, the braised short rib pappardelle pasta. I raved to my friend about it and 3 of us all ordered it. It came out, warm, not hot and extremely bland. No flavor at all. We were all disappointed. Also a few of us ordered salads. Those all showed at after our main dish was served. Not the experience we've had in the past. 
We have always enjoyed Hero Ranch for their elevated food at reasonable prices. Service is always outstanding and very attentive. Chicken and cornbread appetizer was the bomb! Grilled octopus was tender and delicious but the portion was a bit small. Double pork chop was to die for, but unfortunately the halibut and filet entrees were overcooked and dry. So a bit of a mixed bag this time for dining. For the filet, I expected a thick piece (2 inches) however it was only about 1"...
