If you are a Philly Cheesesteak lover this place is definitely worth it. They serve a variety of sides/fries/salads and Sandwiches.My favorite is "The Works" Cheesesteak.Freshly baked bread, tender & juicy steak sautéed with peppers, onions, mushrooms. Truly delicious.
I rarely do Google Reviews, but this place took me by surprise.I was staying at a hotel around here, and there was a taco bell next door but I wanted to explore. I found John's Phillly Grille which was pretty much a hole in the wall. But it was quite busy. Tons of people on their lunch and there was almost no space inside.I ordered got my food and left and holy GOD. This is no ordinary cheese steak. The bread is almost perfect first of all. We always visit here when we are in Seal Beach for the best Philly cheesesteaks. Huge portions with so much meat, freshly baked bread, tasty big chunky chips/fries, and friendly servers.
The decor is a little tired but don't let that put you off, the food is great.
